Questions & Answers
Installed two of these in two closets. Outside handle works, inside does not rotate. The door measures within the range. When both handles connect together - work great. As soon as placed on the door the same issue. What could be the issue?

Schlage levers are finished with a protective metal finish (for example plated nickel, chrome, or brass) or a durable coating (such as a powder or clear protective lacquer) applied to improve corrosion and wear resistance. does this have to have the plate screwed in to the edge of the door or can it be installed as a drive-in latch?

Is there a way to temporarily disable the locking on the inside for a toddler room, then when older and more responsible enable it?
FC21 products are custom passage/privacy locks. If the Button is installed for the FC21 on the interior the lock acts as a privacy, if not installed would just be a passage.
Does it make noise when the lever is pulled down to unlock the lock ?

Need help. They key pin would not open the door handle. I even tried using a paper clip and a very thin screw driver for eyeglass. any idea?
