Navigator Lift-Away DLX Upright Vacuum with Cyclone PET Handheld Vacuum

Very disappointed with this vacuum as I have loved my shark vacuum cleaners in the past. The design is poor, attachments just sit on a holder attached the the main part of the vacuum and easily fall off. Attachments also only fit into the removable device only buy suction and for proper fit, needs the extender attachment. The extender attachment does not have a holder on the vacuum and is very inconvenient. The suction is amazing, almost to much on high carpet, even on the lowest setting. The main vacuum part is very small. Love the length of the cord and the large capacity of the dirt container. Will be returning this to the store to purchase a different vacuum.

I had one before but this new version but this is… not cordless as was in the product description, and a lot heavier than the prior model. Almost useless to a senior person with a bad back.

We have the original one 20 yrs, this one has no suction power compare to my old one, our old one had a electric pet brush, but the contacts break off after a while, I thought this adapter also had a electric brush adapter, it seems the company cheaper up over the years does not have suction power, returning it

I ordered from the website and received a very dirty unit with some minor cosmetic damage. The filters appeared to be new and clean, so I wasn't sure if it was just dust from the factory, or if it was a return, display model or even a refurbished unit. I contacted customer service, who were great, and they told me it definitely appeared used. They seemed a little confused themselves because they said it shipped from the warehouse, and not a store (and wasn't a return), but regardless, they said it shouldn't have been sent out in that condition. So, I was refunded and I went ahead and ordered another one. The replacement just arrived today and unfortunately, it is just as dirty as the first (maybe more so). There is dust not just on the outside, but inside the hose and extension pieces as well, and there appears to even be some debris in the canister. The box also looks like something got spilled on it (or maybe it got wet or rained on). I don't know what to think... Again, the filters appear brand new and clean, and if it really has been used, the canister would be dirtier (even if someone cleaned it). Since I got 2 in a row in this condition, I guys this is just how they come from the factory, covered in dust and debris. It just seems really dirty for a "brand new" product. I considered my options, but it looks like there are no more available for shipping (from the warehouse). The only option I see is for pickup or delivery from the nearest store (which is 1 hr 40 min away from me). So I guess i need to decide if I want to keep it or return it and shop somewhere else. I gotta say though, I am pretty disappointed with this whole experience. If this is a brand new unit, but it certainly isn't presented that way. And Home Depot needs to improve how they ship items to customers... Both of these units were shipped in the retail box (which I know is more common these days), but they didn't even put a single piece of tape on the box. The only thing holding it closed during transit was a tiny cardboard flap, and that's not ok... Packages take a beating during transit and need to be properly secured. They need to do better.

Model: CH701 I bought this product about a month ago. The battery doesn’t really last very long. It works ok for just a quick vacuum. I bought the earlier model that doesn’t come with the pet tool. It only has a lint adaptor. If you intend to purchase a portable hand vac and intend on doing a whole car with it, I’d suggest a plug in style. Suction power is decent, nothing like my regular shark vacuum I use in my house. I really wish they had a model that was more comparable to my lift away.

missing the manual , extentions and pet tool. had some plastic piece not listed . now having to drive to a home depot to return. makes me nervous for new washer and dryer coming from them

In a good way!!! This picture is just from the living room! With nine people and three pets, our floors take a beating. My precious vacuum would only fill up after vacuuming the whole house.

When using the attachment to vacuum anything else that is not carpet the vacuum falls over very easily. The hose is not long enough to stay extended making it very hard to complete the cleaning. To clean the vacuum its hard to find the right tool to unscrew. Different size bolts as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandma stays with me and has a little dog that sheds bad. She uses this vac to get the dog hair off her bed and it works great for that. It seems to be made for pet hair and head is perfect for soft surfaces like a bed. This picks up all the hair from her bed and shes able to handle the vac at 83 years old. It is not the strongest thing I have ever used but you wouldn't want it to suck up your bed sheets. So for what she uses it for, it works great!
