can I use the hygrometer inside my house
Well you can use this gyro meter inside your home it's designed for outdoor use and may not give you accurate readings.
This unit can be used either inside or outside. We recommend keeping it away from any heat or cold sources that would affect the accuracy of the unit.
Does this thermometer come with a bracket for mounting outside a window?
This model of thermometer does not include a mounting bracket, it features an integrated keyhole hanger for wall mounting. Is the back of the thermometer, with the sensor coil, covered by a protective plastic cover? Or is the back of the thermometer (and the coil) exposed to the air, elements, etc, and no cover on the back?
bi-metal coil is exposed, there is no cover. We always recommend hanging analog dial thermometers in a sheltered location (overhang, awning, rooftop, etc) out of direct sunlight, and extreme precipitation. This thermometer is resistant to light moisture, but should not be exposed to constant/direct heavy rain.
Can this thermometer be mounted near an outside window, viewable from inside the house?
yes. It just needs to be hung (using a nail/screw -not provided) onto something flat like post/fence but should be sheltered from direct sunlight for temperature accuracy.
Does it have a silver or white frame?
This thermometer is completely white, only the dial has color on it.
Would this be rated for inside a Sauna
This thermometer with humidity is designed to measure temperatures from 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 50 degrees Celsius) and includes humidity readings from 1% to 99%.
