Considering Smart Tiles? Do it!
I bought these tiles 2 or 3 months ago but only got around to using them this past weekend. And now that they're up, I wonder what took me so long. They so transformed the look of my kitchen at a fraction of the cost of a tile backsplash with out the mess. It only took me a few hours and you can't tell the difference from real tiles. To anyone considering Smart Tiles, do it!

Used these on the wall behind my toilet, and I love how it transformed the bathroom. Had them up about a year, look good, wipes down easily if needed. These are great because you can cut them to size with sturdy scissors or a knife, making odd shapes easy to work with. Looks like glass tile once installed.

Good product but.....
This is the second installation of Smart Tiles I have done. The first was with the straight edged tile. This was the first time using the interlocking tile. Of the two, I prefer the straight edged tile. The interlocking tile needs a few improvements. The major improvement it needs are the interlocking fingers. They need to have a rounded end and a narrower grout line. If you get misaligned by just a fraction of a fraction of an inch your in trouble. A rounded edge and narrower grout line would be easier to work with and more forgiving if you get ever so slightly out of line. The next fix you need with the interlocking tiles is the size of them, actually you need more sizes. You need the standard size you currently have but you need to add half sheets and 3/4 sheets with the interlocking fingers. Again, this would make installation of the interlocking tiles much easier. Lastly, you need to add a grout roller to your tool list. A roller for the entire field is easy to find but the grout lines at the joints, be it straight or interlocking sheets, need a special roller. It's a very simple design. Think of a pizza cutter minus the cutter, add a narrow hard wheel and you have a grout roller. Other than these few items, I would use your product again (I think the RV bathroom is next) and do recommend it to everyone.

Great product
I found this on the internet after doing some research on tile. We wanted to update the kitchen but didn't want to have the mess of traditional tile. I really like this product. The Smartttiles are extremely easy to use and look like real glass tile once installed. The only thing that could be changed is the way products are packaged and shipped. Most of the corners were bent on the tiles from shipping but went up well once a little pressure was applied to the corners. Overall I am very satisfied and have already recommended this product to quite a few people. I installed these while my husband was at work and he thought it looked great when he got home.

Looks AMAZING and so easy!
I am thrilled with the result in my kitchen. I really wanted something simple to install but that looked realistic and that's exactly what I got! It took maybe 3-4 hours total. Even the spots where I was still learning and the joins are somewhat inexpert look really good until you get up really close. (I'm not a perfectionist or I'd have just redone it anyway, but after a couple weeks I can barely remember which areas were mistakes.)
