I'm looking for silica sand that I can use to mix in my plant's soil to help with drainage. The sand I use can't effect soil PH, be a fine grain of sand, or have chemicals. Does this sand meet those standards?

Suitable for chicken coops?

I was told to purchase "construction grade" sand for my coop that has been washed and cleaned and contain no additives. I know it should be a coarser grit, even some little pebbles, primarily so the chickens won't inhale really fine particles. Would this be suitable as construction grade?

The silica in play sand makes it UNSUITABLE for chickens.

QUIKRETE® Commercial Grade Sand - Medium is a washed and dried silica sand with a predominant US size range of #20 to #50. It may be suitable for your application, but please check with the pool manufacturer to determine any specific gradation requirements for the sand used underneath the pool.
