We recommend that you have your water heater installed by an experienced, licensed service professional, as the installation of a water heater deals with carbon monoxide, natural gas and a pressure-controlled holding tank. Any one of these factors could cause catastrophic damage and/or injury if the unit is not installed properly. Trained professionals will know the necessary codes and safety factors.

Tankless water heaters heat water to a digitally preset temperature when your demand for hot water passes either a gas burner or electric element. Unlike conventional tank-style units which heat water 24/7, a tankless water heater only heats water on demand, making it more energy efficient.

However, tankless water heater installation does require more of an upfront investment, may need venting and isn’t ideal for heavy usage.

Water softeners filter out minerals like calcium and manganese to reduce hard water in your home. During this softening process some sodium is added to the water, about as much as a piece of bread. After installation, additional salt should be added to the softener about once a month to ensure the highest-quality, softened water.
