How long does it take to install new countertops?
The installation time will vary depending on the size of your kitchen and the surface type you choose. On average, the installation process takes 1-3 days to complete.
What is the difference in a quartz countertop and a granite countertop?
The biggest difference is that granite is natural stone while quartz is manufactured stone. Granite will have variations in color since no two stones are alike. Quartz provides a more consistent color. From an installation perspective, sealing is highly recommended for granite but not needed for quartz. Both provide lasting value but different looks. How long will my new countertops last?
Choosing the right countertop surface for your lifestyle is important for the lifespan of your new countertop. Our kitchen design experts can help you choose the right fit. Many of our countertops are backed by a 15-year warranty. Visit our Countertop Buying Guide for more details.
Will I be able to cut directly on my new countertop or place hot pots and pans on the surface?
To prolong the beauty and life of your new surface, we recommend that you use cutting boards and/or trivets to protect your kitchen countertop from cuts, heat sources, etc.
Will seams be visible in the countertops?
Our solid surface countertops offer an almost seamless appearance. Seams tend to be more visible in stone surfaces as well as laminate and recycled tops.
