The Home Depot In Blairsville is a wonderful store to shop. They have excellent deals and the service is always great. I believe their people are well qualified and eager to help solve any problem. I would highly recommend this store.

Mike in appliances is very knowledgeable, patient, kind and goes the extra mile to ensure you have what you need and want. If I've been ever disappointed about anything else in the store, his customer service makes up for it.

Went to buy a dishwasher. Lacey was very helpful and thorough in explaining delivery, installation, etc. She answered all of my questions and made sure I understood delivery and warranty requirements. I have shopped here many times in the last six months and the staff is helpful. Sometimes you have to wait a while if they are busy, but the people are always nice.

Terrible customer service and the ASM was worse. Rude cashier.

I love Home Depot and this store is one of the best I've been to. It is extremely clean. I've never met an employee who wasn't helpful or who didn't say hello when you walked past them. I just purchased a washer and dryer from this store. The salesperson was knowledgeable, patient, and answered all my questions. I walked out of the store feeling very confident I made the right purchase. I also liked that I was able to pay for my purchase in the appliance department. In other home improvement stores, you have to take your paperwork to a cashier at the front, stand in line and check out there. HD's process is a real time saver.

Two employees were extremely helpful. The first young man ( unfortunately I didn't get a name ) helped me locate an item ( dehumidifier) and even carried it to put it in a cart. My cashier, John Wischmeyer, was working in returns, but offered help and then went above and beyond in service.

I would only recommend this store because there is not another one close. You have a few employees that are very helpfull, ME ME , Dwayne and Vickie that I can name , but you have many that do not have time to help the customers and you do not have enough employees to help the amount of customers you have. On a recent visit I was looking for something and ask an employee as he passed me and he just pointed to another part of the store and keep going. Several times I have ask for help loading something heavy and I always get it loades someway and they still havent been there.

Store refused to give vet's discount to 92 year old Army vet because he wasn't "standing right here in front of us," as the clerk and manager said. Not at all apologetic or accomodating --didn't ask for proof of Dad's service or anything other than to demand he physically appear (also a stroke victim with impairments in walking). His living trust name was stated on the credit card I was paying for his house expenses with, along with my name as his sole trustee (and son). We were trying to buy repair items for his house in Hayesville where he stayed home with his caregiver that night. Checkout clerk also challenged his 11 year old grand daughter when she politely responded that an item in the cart didn't come from Home Depot. Cheap package of toilet shims. Visited competitor the next day, got the items that Home Depot didn't have, received the veteran's discount that others have always extended in Fla and Ga. and got friendlier service. Not the friendliness we've experienced in this area before it became 'discovered.'

I needed some help getting plywood off the shelf. I could not find any employee on any aisle (typical) so I go to the rear of the store where I saw three employees unloading stock. They were in the middle of a conversation about how one of them found a piece of stock they had otherwise lost. I stood there for at least 2 minutes and not ONE of them asked me if I needed help or any assistance even though they all three saw me standing there. I was totally ignored and angry. Finally, I ran into Mr. Tim Hester and he was more than helpful. He cut my plywood boards to my specifications and went out of his way to make sure I got what I needed. I appreciated his professionalism and willingness to recognize that customers are his business not putting up stock! Even if stocking material is your main job, having customers who continue to return and purchase stock is the reason you have a job. No customer should be ignored by any employee.

I bought a house in Hiawassee recently, I need lots of stuffs for the new house: Lawn Mover, cutter, doors, windows, etc... I feel every warm and friendly from this store. I got education from them and learned lot things I don't know. Great place to go for me.
