Clean, organized and Friendly!
Thank you for always being kind and friendly and alway willing to help out as I enter the store. The store is always organized and clean and easy to find items needed, if not staff are ready to help even if they are not in their "area" of expertise.

    Everyone there was very friendly and helpful they assisted me with loading my car with heavy bags of mulch, and helpful hits on planting and what to use in my soil on my flower beds very pleased with the service.

      I was able to get exactly what I wanted at Home Depot Clay NY. This model is very quiet and I am glad they were able to get me the model I wanted. I also was able to find a nice folding top to put on it which makes it even more efficient in my home.

        Outstanding Customer Service Experience
        I recently visited the Home Depot in Liverpool and experienced outstanding customer service that deserves recognition. Hanna, a front service staff member, went above and beyond to resolve a payment issue I had with several gift cards. I informed Hanna about my previous difficulties using these cards at the Cicero store. She listened attentively and, drawing on her extensive knowledge, suggested a practical solution. When a $500 Visa gift card was initially declined, she recommended entering a smaller amount, which worked perfectly. This quick thinking saved me from another frustrating experience. Hanna expertly navigated our entire order and arranged delivery, all while managing ringing phones, assisting a line full of customers, and supporting her colleague with questions. Her professionalism and dedication were evident throughout the process, ensuring a seamless and pleasant shopping experience. Home Depot is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee. Thank you, Hanna, for your exceptional service!

          I Love Home Depot
          I have never had a bad experience at Home Depot. Whether I am shopping for a small item or a big project there is always plenty of friendly, courteous help. I especially like the ability to see if an item is in stock and exactly where it is in the store. Returns couldn't be easier, even without a sales receipt.

                    Unprofessional
                    The tools rental associate is very unprofessional. I have been in there numerous times and he doesn't like to help anyone and isn't interested in explaining anything to or helping a customer. I for one will be renting tools elsewhere from now on.

                      Kandi the sales cashier was extremely helpful! I was buying lily bulbs for a gift and she took the time to ask questions and give me so much information to ensure that we would get the most out of our lily’s. I really appreciate Kandi’s knowledge and that she took the time to share it with me!

                            During my visit to the store, I was looking for an item as a gift for my son. Jody took the time to inquire as to what I was looking for specifically and when I was unable to locate it he went about finding a comparable item whilst I was shopping elsewhere in the store. Once he found me walking by again he pulled me over and presented what he found and it met what I was looking for. Jody did such a good job that I purchased more of a similar item. His willingness to help especially at this time of year was commendable and showed what kind of heart the staff at this Home Depot have. Thank you very much Jody and your crew at Clay Home Depot.

                                Great People!
                                I went in to return a tool that I didn't need, I got the wrong kind, that was totally my mistake. What made this trip amazing was the cashier, Leslye. I have a son with special needs. Most people tend to ignore him, but she immediately started talking to him. She asked him about what game he was playing on his tablet, asked if he was going to watch the SU game today, and asked if he was helping his daddy with household projects. The fact that she took the time to do this and was so sweet to my special needs child, was nothing short of phenomenal customer service. Leslye, if you ever read this, thank you SOOO much for making my child feel calm and welcome in a place that is usually overwhelming for him.

                                  An awful shoping experience at the Clay NY location
                                  1. Return line was 5 customers deep. HD return agent talked on phone for 10 minutes. No one waited on customers. 2nd HD agent was said to be on lunch. 2. HD Lumber agent cut plywood 1 inch wrong. 3. HD Lumber agent had a bad attitude, told me to go outside and get my own cart. 4. HD register did not have T1-11 siding in system. Customer had to take a picture of the sku on rack and bring it back to register.

                                    I love this location for all the friendly staff that are helpful in every department. Staff (while working) would stop to help me find what I needed even though what I needed wasn't in their department. Awesome

                                      I had to go to the paint department. I had several questions about what I needed. Aaron answered all of my questions and help me find all of the correct products. He also told me what isles to go to to finish my shopping that were not in his department at that time he truly was a huge help to me.

                                                Wonderful Experience purchasing Paint
                                                We came in to purchase Barn Paint. The paint associate Kris, assisted us in locating the paint. I asked if the paint could be mixed, and Kris said no problem, and mixed the five, 5 gallon containers of paint with no hesitation or complaint. We wanted to open a Home Depot Credit Card, and Kris assisted us at the register, and helped us complete the application successfully, and we were able to open a new credit card account with no problem. Kris did an excellent job, great customer service.

                                                    Cashier at customer service was rude!!!
                                                    I bought 2 post caps for my porch. The previous cashier couldn't get one to scan so he scanned the same one 2 times. I had to return them as they didn't fit and the cashier accused me of not buying it there when I in fact did and they can even check the cameras! So was so rude and kept saying I didn't buy it there, arguing with me like she was right. I left the store without buying anything and won't be back

                                                            Rude and lack training
                                                            Customer service lied and said that i was only receiving partial credit for a water heater i purchased 3 months ago because thats what the warranty pays when she actually did the return wrong as if i didn't have the receipt when i did have it, i purchased it online so i had the receipt. She should not be in customer service with her attitude.
