Been to this Home Depot and the employees are always knowledgeable and helpful for whatever I need

My only complaint at THIS STORE was that the people in some departments are not knowledgeable or are not present to help me.

Go see Ed in flooring! He will take care of you like you’re his family. We had new floors in our house less than a week after meeting him!

I’m always amazed at how helpful and knowledgeable the staff is at this location. Makes my life so much easier!

Larry the key expert at this Home Depot is very knowledgeable and gracious. He helped me solve a FOB key battery problem quickly and efficiently!

Nancy the cashier took time to explain a program that i was missing out on, no one ever told me anything about program ,thankyou nancy

I got some paint they matched it perfectly took the time to get me the right product with all the necessary questions . I was extremely happy

I shop here often and the store is always neat and organized

I went in looking for some items last week and the store manager (Raquel), as well as the receiving manager (Darnell), were both very kind and helpful! They not only helped me find what I was looking for, but they also encouraged me to return any time and they would be more than happy to help me again. When they said that, I could tell it was genuine and not just something they were trained to say to their customers. I had an overall amazing shopping experience because of them and will gladly go out of my way to shop at their store from now on! Keep up the great work guys!

Everyone at Elston/Leavitt Home Depot is great! They are friendly and very willing to help you. Will and smoke at the Prodesk are amazing. Always go out of their way to help even on their breaks. Highly recommend these guys!

It took over 6 months to get a blind order placed due to the incompetence of the employee named Edward in the blinds department. He also is one of the most condescending and rude people I've come across. The whole process is poor. We placed an order last year for half our house for custom Lutron blinds. We got half of them done and were waiting to do the other part. We were told all measurements would be saved and just to call. This is not true so we had to work with a poor system to get someone out to redo the measurements (they just text you when they'll show up vs making an actual appointment so hope you're home!). That took about 3 months to get right. Then I get a call to order the blinds which I return the call. After 4 weeks I was finally able to talk to someone to get the blind order at which point I'm told "we no longer carry the Lutron blinds". So now I'm back to finding a dealer and trying to get measured etc. I went to the North Ave HD store and to my surprise they have the Lutron book and I was showed how you can order them. I was told to go back to the Elston store and place the order. Well, when I get there Edward decided that I was wrong, gave me a speech about how North Ave has different stuff then their store and that I need to go back to North Ave then to place the order. I said no, I'm not going through the pain to get the measurements done again because apparently this is store specific (which makes 0 sense). He then turned his computer screen to me saying "well if you know how to do it, then show me how to place the order". He then put a person on speaker phone that was apparently from HD in order to listen to the convo claiming they could "witness he's doing nothing wrong". Then the original person who called me from a couple months ago shows up and Edward decides to say "oh you can deal with him because apparently he thinks he can order the Lutron shades". At this point I do look at her computer and low and behold! There is the option right on the left hand side to do the Lutron shades. Now at this point Edward decides to take his phone off speaker, slink over to the far corner of his desk and I say I'll need to speak to the GM and just holds up the OK sign to me and ignores me. Never apologizes for the incorrect information, the rude attitude, or the fact I've been waiting for 6 months because of his mistake. I asked for a GM and when the manager comes over Edward decides to leave and the sales associate explained that Edward was the one who removed the old display with those shades and claimed to her that "we no longer carry these". Yet I was the wrong who was just so wrong and had to start from square one because Edward was too small of a person to admit he was wrong or acknowledge his mistake/misinformation. Sorry but that is uncalled for and a simple "sorry, I was mistaken" or even "I"m sorry for all the trouble lets look into this and figure out a solution" would have gone a long way. Instead I was told "you can cross your arms and stare at me all you want but it won't change that we can't order these blinds". Yeah you need to quit from working in a customer facing role because you have 0 people skills or ability to resolve problems. I will never go back to this store and I'll gladly go back to North Ave because as you stated Edward, they are the highest grossing store in IL so apparently they have more knowledgable people who actually try to take care of customers unlike you.

Customer services was unbelievable. Who knew that shopping for toilets would be such an awesome experience at Home Depot

I've made SEVERAL purchases from Home Depot over the years and I've always been exceedingly happy with the products/shopping experience/friendliness and knowledgeable staff. SO many times I've needed an extra hand and the staff always find a way to accommodate so that I leave as a very satisfied customer. I love the Home Depot credit card and use it for my large appliance purchases. No interest for xx months is SO helpful when high ticket items are necessary. Can you tell I LOVE this store??

If you want to be trap in your car for hours then don’t come to this Home Depot the Starbucks and contractor line will keep you trap in your car for hours.

After shopping around I found the best quality and price here at this store. Product is very well made and great quality. Was easy to install and fit was perfect. I like the color and finish and am very happy that it is sturdy.

3 Team members to recognize... IYANA: Garden; Her ENERGY! I felt like we were friends when she said "HI!", Consistency with ensuring I got the departments I needed. YOMARA: Electric; Patiently helped and educated me on some bulb differentials for my replacement bulb. LEX: Garden; Was outstanding to take the time to help me even though another team mate told her she could take her break, it meant a lot that she prioritized the customers needs, which saved me time from repeating all what we went over to someone new instead.

The CSR Iyanna is a rock star at HD. She goes above, and beyond, to help the consumer. Check her out for yourself! The store is consistently friendly and helpful, but young Iyanna rocks. It's refreshing to patronize a business where the employees do there best to help the consumer. This HD location is solid!

Jessica in kitchens is a dream to work with. She assisted me in planning the perfect kitchen. She is great with communicating expectations and clearly has a passion for what she does.

Gean was friendly, kind and helpful. He let me take my time picking out the flooring and basically also helped me calm down my anxiety with picking which floor sample I wanted. I did buy the floors and all the needed supplies for my project. Thank you.
