I like this store and usually have a pleasnat shopping experience, but the last time I purchased an item, it was very bad. I bought an over the range microwave I had to install in my home.Tthere were several things wrong: 1. Installation bracket was missing 2. One grease filter was missing 3. the display light is very dim 4. The door handle was scratched 5. The product was not secured in the packing box, I could hear pieces rattling as I was driving home. I would guess someone returned this product to the store and no one checked for missing/damaged pieces before returning it to stock. If the display light goes out completely, I sure don't want to have to reinstall a new one. I did not return the item to the store as it is the Coronavirus lock down period and I didn't want to be out more than I had to.

I bought 2 celing fans 250ft of 12-2 wiring 5 outlet boxes and 2 nightlights everything was readily available.

im supposed to get military discount spent 41.00 and my disount was only 1.12 been told im supposed to get it on pellets but dont unless i say something how much money have i lost this season to this get the military discount right

The store was neat and clean, everything was stocked and easy access. We had been to the Altoona Store and was looking to purchase a portable A/c unit. One of the employees, said it was a seasonal item and to get our cell phones and order from there. We live an hour away. He didn't want to look. We went to customer service and ask the girl there if she could see if they had any on stock. She was not happy. She called someone and ask if they could find a unit for us. He told her it would be like looking for a needle in a hay stack. We continued shopping for other items. Another Associate approached us and ask if we were finding everything ok. We told her no and continued with our story. She pulled out her phone and talked to a few people. They found one. We bought it, brought it home, it was covered in paint and was full of dry wall dust. It had been a return item. They did take it back without a problem. We called Johnstown and Talked to Rick. He went and found all units that suited us with prices, btu, etc. He was great. He pulled the one off the shelf and had it ready for us to pick up the following day. Harry was our cashier in customer service. He was nice and pleasant and knew all about the item we were picking up. I think even though it's a little further away, that will be our new Home Depot location. The people actually care about your needs and are more than willing to help. Thank you Johnstown. Please give those 2 fellows a raise. It's a shame the 3 people we had contact with in Altoona were so negative. Just wish we knew their names. oh well. Thank you Johnstown!

This store continues to excel in customer awareness and support. Throughout 2019 I have had quite a few Honey-Do things to clean up at home. In addition to the elbow-grease / sweat equity required to get these issues cleaned up, I relied a lot on the Home Depot and it's staff. I had paint requirements, lawn and outside needs, wood working, electrical, plumbing and other requirements. My many questions and needs from the Home Depot, were all completely handled, and correctly. As I became more familiar with the actual store itself, I discovered many day-to-day items, that initially I didn't know were stocked. I continue to look forward to any visits that I make to Home Depot Store #4128 in Johnstown, PA., and my wife is very Happy with me.

The cashier named Diane was most helpful when I was checking out. She was very kind and helpful.

I hope that this store and the great employees stay in Johnstown, I'm a die hard Home Depot shopper and don't shop anywhere else for my home improvements. Keep up the fantastic work

I went shopping here in the aftermath of Black Friday.... the store was tidy and organized. The employees looked tired; however, they did not cease to impress. They worked very hard to find me the best value and all the discounts I could possibly get. they even went as far as to compare the various discounts to see which one would benefit me more. I spent over $1,000.00 on this trip and I felt that I received the best possible deals and value I could. Great job Johnstown Home Depot. There was a bit of a wait before I could get someone to help me this was due to the number of people already being helped. They didn't hesitate one bit between helping others and helping me. I cannot say enough about this visit. Great Job!!!! Thank you

The associates always seem to be eager in helping you find what you are looking for. They have time and time again gone way and above in friendliness, helpfulness, and courtesy. That is a big deal when you need certain things and can't find exactly what you want or need. They seem to be quite knowledgeable and if they are not sure, they will find another associate to ask for you. My husband and I absolutely recommend this store.

Dawn ..Cashier (4128 00018) at Johnstown Home Depot went above and beyond on an order of an oil tank. She was very personable, pleasant.

We went to buy a washer and dryer . and a few other items. We were greeted by Julia in the appliance department. She is a total gem. She helped us not only with the appliances but with everything else we needed. She is such a caring , loyal employee.

Clean, organised, low on helpful employees, no cahiers.
