Charron and Elizabeth went way, way above & beyond the call of duty today in making my experience at Merrillville's Home Depot an enjoyable success! Other home improvement stores should visit this store and take notes.

Ordered a Kohler Toilet online and it arrived in pieces. Returned it to the Merrillville, Indiana store and was issued a refund, no questions asked. While I was their I purchased an in stock Kohler toilet for a lower price. Happy with my purchase and the customer service I received with the return and purchase. Will definitely be back. A big thank you to Chantal at customer service.

Matt and Ivory helped me remove an old saw blade and Matt happily helped me choose and replace the right blade for my project.

Merrillvile store #2001 is NOT my home store

I personally have not had a bad experience at the Merrillville Home Depot. The staff has always greeted us and were friendly.

Staff show that they are dedicated to helping customers solve their home care needs by providing plausible possible solutions.

I love shopping at Home Depot! Their customer service is head and shoulders above the other box stores!

Staff are friendly and helpful and know their departments and store. I was there yesterday and stopped a couple staff to ask where something was and they were all very helpful and friendly. I'll be back

Recently I purchased a grill and patio set both online and in store. The store associates service desk Shawn Terri worked very hard to ensure that the purchase went well but there were system problems which lead to the Assistant Manager Leslie M. getting involved. Leslie engaged and did not stop until the items were assembled and delivered 100%. Her determination to make the shopping experience a positive one was full of pride and promise which is what has sustained Home Depot as the number one retailer for home improvement. It is this type employee customer service attitude that has been the power of HD. The EMPLOYEES, their knowledge and willingness to put forth additional customer service, kindness, patience and overall Can Do, Fire in belly, Getter done mentality that has sustained and will continue to sustain HD. Thank you very much Southlake Merrillville Home Depot for restoring my faith in what true customer service was and still can be. I truly appreciate what you did to assist me.

Purchased doors and flooring for a large project. I can't say enough about the Millwork Specialist Andy who assisted me ! He took his time listening to what I was trying to achieve and then calmly offered suggestions and ideas on how to do what I needed to get done.

Rommy, Kelley and Cindy did out standing job helping with our remodel from appliances to flooring and cabinets and counter tops. I will be emailing pictures to Rommy has soon as our back splash is installed.

I recently purchase some items from the flooring Department at this store, and I'll be honest previously when shopping at Home Depot the first thing I thought of was not customer service but I do love the products you carry, but this trip changed my outlook! Halley in the flooring Department went above and beyond, she was fantastic! Ivory, her coworker was great as well! They changed my opinion on the customer service Home Depot provides!

The Merrillville store has never been a disappointment. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable and never makes you feel like they are rushing you so they can leave and go do something else

I bought paint. Your employee in the department was very rude. Did not acknowledge me standing there until.she chose to. Got snotty when I did not want tomput my phone number in the system to remember my purchase and literally out the finished paint down and even though I was standing five feet away never spoke and walked away.

I'm always in a good mood when I see the home depot sign. This place is my church !
