Are Kids Workshops offered at the Valparaiso Home Depot?

Yes, the Valparaiso store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check the availability of the kits.

How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?

Gift cards to The Home Depot are an excellent present for birthdays, housewarming parties, and the holidays. DIYers know they're fun to give and to receive. You can purchase them online at homedepot.com or in our brick-and-mortar stores. If you're a recipient, you can visit the Valparaiso Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Use our gift cards to shop online or redeem them in-store. There are no additional fees to worry about.

Does The Home Depot Valparaiso offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items. We will let you know via email or text message when your order is ready at the store. Bring your valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

To pick up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" text message or email to tell us you're on the way via the app.
3. When you arrive, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space, which is typically located near the front of the store.
4. Check in through the app to tell us you've arrived.
5. We'll bring out your order and load it into your vehicle.
