A:  Yes. If it is on the 18 volt lithium star platform. It will work with a 1.5 amp battery all the way up to a 6 amp battery.

A:  Yes. As long as they fit LXT 18V models. Will definitely work. I have many LXT tools, including this one. Batteries are all swappable. BTW, this baby is a monster. Don't use it often, but never fails.

A:  Yes. All 18v batteries fit this wrench. This is by far the best cordless wrench, heck, one the best tools in my toolbox. It has the power to do exactly what you need plus some. Very powerful!

A:  Yes. It just will not last as long. 1.5 amp hour vs. say 3.0 amp hour battery. 3.0 will last about twice as long in theory. It will work though.

A:  Yes. Any of the makita 18v batteries works with it.

A:  Thank you for your question. No, an Ah is the amount of energy charge in a battery that will allow one ampere of current to flow for one hour. Larger capacity batteries provide longer run-time, not additional power.

A:  I do not think so. The amp hour rating on you battery pack is telling how long the battery will last. Higher the amp hour rating the longer it will run your tool. Lithium batteries will give you almost all their run time until they are almost drained. Never drain a battery totally as it can damage the battery. If you were to put in a 1.5 amp hour battery it would produce the same torque as a 3 amp hour battery. It just would not last as long.

A:  I am not sure if it is but I do know that this is the best impact wrench I have used battery anyway, I use it for many related jobs and it works awesome everytime

A:  It should work. Makita's 18 volt is on the same platform. Does not matter the amp hour rating. 3, 5 , 1.5. All will work.

A:  Yes, I use it to change the tires on my FUSO camper and they are torqued to 350ft/lbs.

A:  Probably will. Mine works just fine on a BL 1830 battery. If its on the 18 volt lithum battery platform it will work. Might not run as long though.

A:  yes. not going to run all day breaking big rusted bolts loose on the small battery. But good for a tire change or winter/summer set swap out.

A:  Was able to remove the lug nuts on my F250 with ease, didn't even struggle a little.

A:  This will absolutely remove any rusted nut, that a socket can grab & still has visible thread on the bolt. I live up in the PA rust belt & have taken this thing to my local Pick a Part, and stripped down entire brake & suspension set ups on 20+ year old vehicles, with ease! A:  It will break them if they are stuck. Has almost double the tork as my air impact. I used it on medium to remove lugnuts like a breeze.
