Not my favorite
Beautiful sink overall. Had it professionally installed. However it has square corners, difficult to clean and food always was trapped there. Even spraying water would not help. And it was almost like it had no slope. I always had to brush the food remnants down to the drain, it was like food was always left and the sink never looked clean. After three years of complaining, I replaced it.

Beware Rust
I fell in love with this sink when we remolded our kitchen! I never leave anything in the sink, however, it has rust spots all over it! We are very disappointed as the sink was very expensive and would be very difficult to remove without damaging our Quartz countertops!!

Thanks so much for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing these stains on your new sink. I assure you; they are not rust marks. Typically, when red spots appear on a Stainless-Steel Sink like ours it is simply surface discoloration. This is usually taken care of permanently with a stainless-steel polish and/or cleaner when used according to the directions of the cleaning product. Products such as Bar Keeper’s friend and a fine 3M Scotch Brite pad are both great options. Looks great until you go to install
Everything looks beautiful and seems great until you go to install this sink and the mounting clips are awful! We bought this sink in store before reading the reviews. Got it home and started to install. Had trouble and read all the bad reviews about the mounting clips. Well believe them and just get a delta or maybe a Kohler sink. We got a delta. Make sure the brackets are all metal and there’s no little plastic piece in it.

Scratches easily
I bought Krauss sink last month and within days it has permanent scratches. It is difficult to maintain.
Needs to be cleaned and polished after every use. A lot of work for cheaply made product.
Certainly not scratch resistant or easy clean.
Regret very much buying this sink.

Scratches are inevitable in any sink material, including stainless steel. These are merely usage scratches. Overtime, these scratches will become uniform with the sink's grain and blend into the overall finish of your sink with proper cleaning.
The surface scratches which appear on stainless steel sinks rarely have any appreciable depth and will become less noticeable with age. Your sink will look better a year after installation than during the first few months of use due to the fact that the scratching will have evened out. All sinks manufactured in stainless steel perform in exactly the same way.

Dual-Mount Consideration
While we liked everything the Kraus Loften had to offer, the countertop company shared with us that they would not mount a "dual-mount" sink as an undermount to the quartz countertop. So, we returned this sink and purchased a similar version that is specifically undermount (Kraus KWU112-33) and they approved that for undermount installation. It is not installed yet, but wanted to share what we learned about dual-mount and countertop maker's view of them. Lastly, the 4 star rating is based on our expectations of the sink minus 1 star for dual-mount not being approved for undermount by the countertop company. Hopefully I'll get back to rate the undermount version once it gets installed and we have a chance to use it.

They only come in two hole models and I need three holes. You void warrenty if you make another hole.

Super sink!
Looks so nice with the cutting board and dish drainer rack in place. Also the racks for the bottom of the sink is a nice feature as well as the drain covers that still allow water to drain! Clever!

Kraus Sink
Overall a great sink, the only hickup is that the drop in fasteners aren't suitable for a countertop less than 5/8" thick. Takes a bit of know how to get it attached to a 3/4" countertop, but that's all that I've had to remedy. Grat sink Kraus!
