Easy to install. Used videos to help. Cools nicely. Only issue is having difficulty getting Alexa to recognize the unit. Phone app is causing confusion but that's not a problem for me.

Horrible low-frequency rumble!!!
I purchased 2, 1 for my newly made Amish cabin which is an office, and 1 to replace our bedroom unit. After installing the 1st one in my cabin I noticed a loud low-frequency noise, like a helicopter overhead, and started to shake the walls! This would come and go as the compressor would come on and off. I did not even install the 2nd one. They are both going back tomorrow! Do a Google search for this issue and you will see countless people with the same issue! A waste of money and my time!

Over-engineered garbage
The concept seems like a good idea, though whoever designed this should return to school. Talk about taking a process that should be rather simple and making it so complex! Complete and utter balderdash!
That’s not to mention how shoddy this units construction is. Ghastly, I tell you. That front grill is brittle as the wings on a glass angel. The screw holes weren’t drilled properly.
Ignore the 5-star reviews on this. I would wager most are shills. Stay away from this piece of junk.

Does not work on Shallow roofed houses
I bought this to use in a room that has a porch roof under it, and because of the bracket that holds the back it won't tilt at the right angle and cannot be installed. This thing is heavy and huge, and I don't trust it on a second floor window.

I love the ac, but I didn’t realize that Home Depot wouldn’t install because I purchased online. I thought installation was included, but even though it wasn’t included, I was surprised that Home Depot didn’t offer installation for online purchases. If I’d bought it in store, they would have installed. So I think it was kind of problematic to not offer installation.

Shakes alot when compressor cranks up on high. My walls are well built 2x 6 construction.. the bs written about it is your windows and wall. When on low or even medium it is quite.

Great specs lousy unit
The unit was hardly able to cool a normal sized bedroom. That kind of killed my dreams for that beautifully and smartly designed unit. (My view). 12000 BTU equals one ton of power this thing was making a lot of noise for nothing. I have a feeling that someone lied on the specs. My compliments to Home Depot for taking it back almost a year later and without any problems.
