My wife and I are so extremwly happy with our Rinnai 11 GPM Tankless Water Heater. It has a recirculater built in so the water is hot immediately. We can take 3 showers at the same time with zero hot water issues now. We are so happy with this water heater! Goodbye to my irritating electric heating tank. I highly recommend that you all switch over to tankless.

This is our second Rinnai, the first one was 15-17 yrs old - and still working - I was concerned about what EPA was going to do about -saving the planet and the Feds was offering a 22% tax credit. I perceive that this Rinnai takes longer to get the water temp to stabilize. I suspect that the Smart-Circ would work better if I was using a closed-loop for the hot water

This is a recently purchased product, I don’t have a lot of experience with it. It appears to be fairly quiet and produces hot water when needed. I’m hoping after installing the comfort valve, that we won’t have to wait so long for hot water at appliances that are further away from the water heater. Rinnai has been very easy to work with, and has answered all of my questions!

We searched long and hard for the best tankless heater we could find and the Rinnai 11 gpm fits our needs. It is without a doubt the best thing we have done for ourselves and our home in 5 years. It was easily installed and provides as much hot water as we need. Unlike our old 50 gal tank, we can now take baths consecutively while washing cloths and doing dishes with someone else in the other shower at the same time. This unit is INCREDIBLE! It can even fill our hot tub. Again, we HIGHLY recommend Rinnai and this unit!

I like hot water at the tap when I want it. I'm not all that happy with the workings of the Wi-Fi unit that I had installed I need to do extra steps when using it. The tankless heater does meet my expectations.

Heater seems to be doing an excellent job. Any issue I would comment on have more to do with the installer and Builder. We learned almost nothing about the unit until we moved in and then were told about the self learning feature; it did not self learn so we called in the plumber/installer only to find out the recirculation feature was never turned on. Works fine. I would like to have known more, pre-install or pre-purchase preferably, about all it's features and the likely cost of using the recycle system. Looking back, should have asked lots of questions early on; I only specified tankless propane heater. Builder and Plumber should have had a sit down to explain it all. I'm still not quite sure I am taking advantage of all the features. The manual is complex and maybe there is or should be an owners guide for "dummies" that explains what the normal owner should know. Seems like excellent technology.

So far the unit has met all expectations. Water heats up quickly and just keeps coming in our big house.

After some initial adjustments, water heater has worked perfectly. Recommend purchasing the wi-if unit for the recirculating pump. Also if you use a lot of hot water simultaneously investigate purchase two units.

Like the fact that it on-demand hot water. Its not instant hot water but its endless

We have had it for 5 months and really like it over-all. We have enjoyed it everywhere except the kitchen. We just don't always have the hot water for dishes exactly when we always call upon it.

Compact. Lower electric bills. Hot water forever.

We have had the tankless water heater for 3 months now and overall are very happy. It provides plenty of hot water for our small (1500 square foot) house with 3 bathrooms, including 2 showers at once. The "smart recirculation" overall works well, but would be MUCH better if there were an app to view the recirc patterns and be able to initiate a recirculation cycle manually. Every once in a while, we have to wait for many minutes to get hot water because it isn't a "normal" time we use hot water. This particularly happens on early mornings, which is when we really want the "instant" hot water to be available. But there is no way to manually initiate a recirculation cycle.

Going on four months since my install and I love it! I like the Smart Recirculation and the compact design of the unit compared to a full on water heater.

The tankless water heaters provide an efficient and limitless supply of hot water. When the recirculator is on the water is hot quickly but when it's off it takes a minute or so to heat up. The printed instructions are difficult to follow, maybe there's a youtube video in the functions.

It has been 2 months since we had our tankless water heater installed and we are very happy with our purchase. One of the features that we like about this appliance is that it saves a lot of space and is a very compact unit.

Installed two units for a large footprint home, ensuring we get hot water quickly throughout the house. No more waiting to get hot water from one end of the house to the other. Only 6 months using so far, but Rinnai units are the good standard. An easy choice.

We started with a 50 gallon water heater in our house. This seems to be much more efficient. We have had it for about two months now.

It efficiently and pretty quickly provides hot water for us in our mountain cabin without us having to store hot water for weeks on end before we visit our cabin again.

Hot water production is outstanding, the learning feature has hot water ready very quickly, despite our very cold well water.

Our old Rinnai water heater stopped working after more than ten years. Our replacement heater was installed within one business day. I enjoyed our old Rinnai and we notice that our new Rinnai seems to work just as well or better and is significantly quieter. Highly recommend Rinnai.

I purchased my first Rinnai on-demand water heater back in 2007. It worked perfectly for 17 yrs. It was still working the day the new unit was installed in Oct 2023. This Rinnai product is AWESOME.

I really like that I can control what times of the day the system works from my phone. It took a bit to get that all sorted and I finally called the support line and they got me connected in minutes.

I have had it 2 months, love the circulation mode, love how quiet it is and how quick it is (much faster than my last one coming on and up to temp)

We have been using the RSC199iP tankless water heater for a couple of months and are really pleased with the performance. We are planning on installing a dedicated recirulation return line (to coincide with a kitchen renovation) as we did not like how the crossover mode required hot water to enter the cold water line. We also had a professional installer upsize our 1/2" propane supply line to 3/4" just to make sure we would get proper performance out of the unit.

Sadly I am not able to give the Rinnai RSC199ip a TEN STARS rating! This is an OUTSTANDING Water Heater and the Rinnai support is the best I have ever experienced! I installed the Thermal Bypass valve at the water distribution manifold which has made hot water available at all fixtures in less than ten seconds! I also installed a new Water Softener, UV Light and had the Well Pump replaced. Of those systems the Rinnai Water was the easiest of the the systems to install! I do not expect to ever need another water heater in my lifetime but I WILL DEMAND a Rinnai if i ever do!

I installed an RSC199IP Propane gas fired Tankless water heater in a confined space about two months ago and have been very impressed with the performance of Rinnai! I had several questions during the install and the Rinnai Team provided prompt and through information and advice. During the initial install I configured the RSC199IP for no recirculation. This provided the flexibility to see real-time the impact of the recirculation capability. I am now working to install the thermal bypass valve that is included with the RSC unit. The additional isolation valve kit provided with the RSC will make the annual flush work a very simple task. I am a retired nuclear submarine sailor and am accustomed to very detailed and explicit documentation and was very happy to find the outstanding documentation provided by Rinnai. The documentation and online videos are first rate! I can' say enough about the product and the OUTSTANDING support provided by Rinnai. I will demand a Rinnai system i
