We never run out of hot water when we have the whole family here. It doesn't seem to make a difference even when 2 showers are going at once. It takes a little longer to get hot water than it used to, but not a big issue. We have only had it 2 months. So far the water heater has preformed very well. When it gets really cold it will be interesting to see if it heats up as fast and maintains temperature. One thing that concerns me is that I have not received the rebate that was promised when purchased.

It is such a game changer for our family with sports and lots of guests regularly. I love that we never have t worry about not having enough hot water ever! It’s SO nice.

efficient ,saves money on propane and i have hot water instantly instead of wasting cold waiting for hot water ,its so efficient that i can hold hand on exhaust and it is not hot

We built a new home in central Georgia and the builder recommended the Rinnai product. The subcontractor who installed the unit gave me a tutorial on using the product, connecting it to our WiFi and setting up the schedules on the app. The water heater works well, but the app / schedules and the instructions from the dealer were not very helpful. It seems we need to schedule the recirculation feature to run constantly to avoid a 5 minute delay in receiving hot water in our shower.

Our Rinnai tankless water heaters work beautifully to deliver hot water to any area of our house when it is needed. We have a large home and you would never know it by how quickly the water heater responds to a demand. When Rinnai tells you that their water heaters are "smart" and learn your hot water habits in your home, believe them. I was skeptical but it works! After just a few days, the water heaters adjusted to our schedule and it was nothing short of amazing!

We love our tankless hot water by Rinnai. Best purchase we have made. We love the recirculation feature for instant hot water during peak use times. While we have only had this one since August, we weren't lucky with our first two Rinnai products. However, they stand behind their product and replaced the first two that appeared to have some major problems. This new one has worked like a charm.

so far so good. awaiting gas consumption vs. old electric water heater's power consumption. here's to hoping for good results

Dependable hot water, no breakdowns. Much quieter than our previous tankless water heater.

Product works well as advertised. the installation was a little rocky, as the installer really had little experience with the app, a necessary way to control the water heater.

What's not to love about not running out of hot water? We have had a tankless hot watersystem for 4 months. We have had 3 minor issues, 2 were installer mishaps & the other is probably a faucet issue, but we have not changed it to see if that fixes it. The installation mishaps were: 1. The return line chrck valve was not fully tightened so it leaked inn the bathroom vanity. 2. The condenser pump switch was left inoperable so it leaked in the basement. I had to remove the piece of cardboard they left in the switch before it would work properly.

The circulation feature with the dedicated cold line is a wonderful improvement over our old Rinai that was installed in 2005. We no longer have to wait forever to get hot water. It comes immediately. Very nice feature and wonderful improvements.

Had another water heater and it would take forever to get hot water to my kitchen and shower, now takes 30 seconds! I even installed a 25 gallon water heater under my kitchen sink as did some of my neighbors but it started to leak after a few years.

I had my first Rinnai (Continuum 2424) installed when I built my house in 2003. It was the best decision I could have made. 20 years later (2023) it was still working (5 years longer than its estimated life span!). Because of its age, I decided to replace it with the Rinnai Sensei. Both of my machines were installed internally (located in my laundry room). My favorite memory was years ago when the power in my area went out for 3 days. It was winter, but I could stay in my house with my fireplace as a heat source. The power came on in the middle of the night. After 3 days without a shower, I was ready! In less than a minute, I had a piping HOT shower, and I took the longest shower of my life. My neighbors with hot water tanks had to wait for their tanks to heat up, then were limited in how long their showers could be. That says it all.

It's compact, easy to program, and no threat for leaks

Have lived with tanked water heaters my entire life. When the latest one finally went out (after 20+ years!) I decided that it was time to go tankless based on the recommendations of friends. Good advice. Only thing that I would change is not going for the recirculating pump; the system simply cannot learn our routines, and so it just runs periodically. I finally shut it off. That said, when I was younger and had a more predictable routine (up at 5:30 am every morning for my shower Monday through Friday), my opinion would likely go the other way. But I still consider the water heater a good investment. When my daughter comes home to visit and takes her long hot showers, we no longer have to wait an hour for someone else to shower.

On demand endless hot water, no holding tank to store and keep heated. Very happy with product performance in my 3 bedroom 4 bath cabin

My favorite feature is the recirculating pump, which allows us to have hot water at the furthest run in our house, without wasting 10+ gallons down the drain!

The Good: Works well The Not So Good: App control takes a extra cost WiFi Module. You need a way of draining awY the condensation that the unit makes. You may have to buy a pump if a drain isn't near the unit

we have had Rinnai tank less water heaters since 2008. It does meet our expectation and surely shall recommend to others.

Capacity is awesome, many configuration options. My only complaint is that they need a much better Wi-Fi option. The add on in very old and not easy to configure. Loses connection often. Reboot of the entire unit fixes it.

We had a 12 year old Rinnai that we replaced with the smart Rinnai. We LOVE the fact that we have hot water almost instantly.

Recirculation via crossover valve to cold supply line at the furthest faucet is very noisy. Don’t bother buying a recirculating unit unless you are also installing a dedicated recirculation line.
