I HAVE HAD THE UNIT ABOUT 3 MONTHS. I CAN SEE GREAT SAVINGS ON MY BILL DUE TO THIS NEW UNIT INSTALL. ULTRA QUIET, NO DONT HEAR PEEP OR BEEP OFF THIS UNIT. I AM PROUD TO OWN SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT.THANK YOU RINNAI.

I like that I never run out of hot water, even if I am washing a load of clothes or running the dishwasher while I shower. I have to run the water a little longer than I did with a system with a tank. I am looking forward to seeing some changes in my utilities bill.

Like it’s stable temperature but sometimes takes time to get heated up

A real space saver! Water heats up fairly quickly. Have had it only 2+ months but am very satisfied!

I love taking a long hot bath everyday, so it is important for me to have endless hot water. I can run a washer machine, a dishwasher, and fill a very large hot tub simontenously. I’m very pleased with the product.

Endless hot water stands out the most. Washing hands water is always cold and if you are not running hot water at a good flow, the burner would shut down and you get cold water. Had it for 2 months and for the most part, I am happy with it.

In small homes: Very little water wastage before hot water arrives. In my Large home: I had to dump at least two bucket full of water before it heated up, despite having a grundfos circulation pump. The farthest bathroom water temperature was never hot in winter (Sacramento!). They were never able figure out the problem despite telephone rep help and expensive plumber call outs.

Great unit and quiet. Not much faster when it comes to producing hot water compared to other brands but it doesn't go cold while using the hot water.

Have had our tankless unit for 3 months, absolutely love it, saves both gas and water over standard water heater, only drawback is the pump "hum" the unit makes during and a short time after operation, no matter whether hot or cold water is used.

Love the new hot water and furnace, much better performance than the old equipment

Great product, however it is not easy to find info for it. I would include the unit price so the home owners will know when they work with the contractors how much is the unit and how much is the labor. The price of a waterless tank should not be secret.. and the company should offer them for sale as well on their website if someone wants to buy just the tankless water heater.

Smaller size, High tech, Quiet, reliable, about two months.

There is a distinct,unpleasant taste and odour to the water. It takes too long for the water to become hot which results in a lot of wasted water. It takes 1 minute 45 seconds ,on average, for the shower, sink, and kitchen sink to get hot. The cold water is lukewarm and also has to run for a minute or so to become cool. The water temperature in the shower fluctuates.

Ok, it's been about a month so here goes. Pros: 1) The unit is so quiet you cant even hear it when you stand next to it. 2) Takes up much less space in the basement. 3) Piece of mind knowing that I'm not heating 80 gallons of water 24-7. 4) No fear of a basement flood. Cons: 1) It takes a little longer for hot water to reach the outlet vs. the old tank. 2) Temp is set at 120 max. ( I would like to be able to adjust it more ). 3) The wifi ready requires a separate module.

Dislike the 5 minutes it takes to get hot water in the morning. Had heater for 6 weeks.

The tankless was part of a new house purchase. Only thing I have questions on is the maintenance of the unit that needs to be done after a year. Also, can you hook up a water softening unit too it?

I've had it a few months and it does a great job of heating water. I like that I don't have to worry about the pilot light going out. The sound it makes when I turn off the water is annoying- a high pitched whistling sound. The installer said it's normal. Perhaps it might be due to the fact that I have too high water pressure. I'm hoping it goes away when I get a water pressure regulator.

Works very well for our 1500sqft home. Takes maybe 10 seconds longer to get hot water on far taps from heater. Endless hot water for showers. Takes up much less room in basement.

We chose the Rinnai Model: RUR160iN as the source for both hot water ion our home and for home heating. For these purposes we will experience a huge cost savings from gas usage. We have just moved into our home, so can't really comment on all the features, but the one that stands out is the re-circulation capability. Hot water imply gets hot faster than we would have expected.

After having a houseful of guests for Thanksgiving, no one had a cold shower surprise. My only complaint, and this isn't the water heater's fault, is that it takes awhile for the Hot water to get to the bathrooms.

We've had our Rinnai for over a month now. Absolutely love it and highy recommend it. Works perfect. always have hot water, and turning on 2-3 faucets at a time does not effect hot water flow.

Replaced a conventional water heater Tank with a Tankless Rinnai system. The delivery of hot water from the time i turn my faucet on is no more time than it took with a tank system. I have had this system for approx. 2 months and have already seen the benefits of a tankless system in terms of financial savings. At the current rate of savings on my gas bill, the unit will pay for itself in very short order.
