The tiller was easy to put together

The tiller does a good job at tilling but there is allot to be desired! The metal on this till is paper thin, and the handles are very flimsy, they been and twist when you lift to turn around to till your next row! The biggest disappointment is the single gear! It only has one speed, so if you have to move it from your shed to the garden it can take awhile . To get it to go in transport mode, you must tilt the tiller and remove the tire pin, move the tire in and reinsert the pin on both sides. But then you have to manually push the till to we’re your working or storing it! I would not buy this model again. I am not a young man anymore so I need smarter not harder. I have always loved Troybilt, but this isn’t the quality I owned before. I have a large tractor and I purchased this for tilling the rows and some small flower beds. I wish I chosen something else!

The tiller was delivered in 2 days, great service. However, it came with no assembly instructions whatsoever so I had to figure it out on my own. It’s a little undersized for my garden but it works great for smaller spaces. Overall it’s worth the money.

Very nice rototiller and lightweight for gardening and transporting.

Overall, the tiller is okay'ish. After only one year both of my tires will not hold air for more than 24h. Every time I go to use it, I have to inflate both tires. Also, the wheels are geared too high. The machine wants to run away with itself before the ground is properly tilled. It breaks through the clay well enough, just wish the wheels were slower. That being said, it does work. It always starts first pull. I'm confident it'll run when I go to use it again.

Works ok, weight could be heavier to stop wheel spin in loose dirt.

I had a Troybilt tiller 30 years ago. This new one is a piece of crap. Too cheaply made. Welds failed within minutes of use. Do not buy. Go with something cheaper. Having to use a hitch pin to engage the drive wheels? Not being able the tines unless the drive wheels where engaged? Total cheap crap. Should be an embarrassment to Troybilt.

Terrible, machine would not dig in unbroken soil more than 2 inches, second pass wheels had no traction and had to "PUSH" a drive powered machine - wheels would not grab, just slipped on the freshly broken dirt. On previous 'hard packed' garden, machine would dig down about 4 inches and wheels would spin, could not get traction - not useful for gardening, maybe for something else not involving soil or dirt.

Did a great job , very easy to start

Started right up after a little assembly. Works great but the weld on the sheet metal front broke in the first 5 minutes

I mainly bought this because of their reputation of making good products and made in USA. Well at least most of it anyway. It works great and starts on the first pole. I’ve had absolutely no problems with it. I would buy it again

Haven't used it much yet but all vitals seem to be fine. Two smaller issues that I have are 1) Doesn't seem to pull itself along; you have to slightly push it. (2 A easier way to make it free wheeling would be nice.

Works as advertised! No issues…none!

Dirt piles up under the frame and won’t let it dig. Pushes all dirt out the left side so you still need to rake it all back to where you tilled already. 4 days into doing my garden, it kept shutting off. Carburetor was all out of adjustment.

This machine is a brute and can handle what I need to do my garden.

Shipping was quick and the troy bilt is well built and has done the job highly recommend

I at first thought that this would rotate the tines both ways by a reverser when you till. I thought you could till with the tines going forward or backwards. It only tills with the tines in reverse to the wheels. This actually works very well for all kinds of tilling. Tilling up grass and just making a good seedbed. It works good for both.

This is a good smaller tiller that I have wanted for sometime. Assembly was a breeze and the engine started on first pull. The tillerdoes a decent job in the garden too. I only have one issue...the forward speed is too fast for most uses. I wish that it had several speeds like the older models. Other than that, I am happy with the quality.
