[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new washer! However about a month after purchasing it the lid locking mechanism fell off. The repair and service were very good and we have had no problems since. Very happy with the washer (and the dryer we bought too!)

I bought this washer less than two months ago and only found that the whole control panel was messed up. When the "drain and spin" function was turned on, the machine started to wash for ever, non-stop. The Whirlpool technician came in and couldn't figure out what was wrong and he called the Whirlpool Engineering department and had to wait for almost another before someone finally picked up the phone. They said the entire control panel wa not working and needed to be replaced. This is a new model that they are still testing and don't have the knowledge to fix it yet. Mire ridiculously it will take a few months to order a new control panel. A total disappointment and very bad experience. I would give it a zero start if there was such an option. STAY AWAY FRIOM IT!!!

The tub size is huge and the spin cycle is awesome, much less dryer time. I also really like the tempered glass so you can watch the clothes wash. Really does a great job cleaning the clothes!

Also appreciate the settings for soak or deep water. I really like that you can see Thru the lid. I am very happy with my purchase. 😊

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My other washer broke down and just didn’t get my clothes clean like I thought it should but this Whirlpool does with a agitator and the best part is the agitator is removable so you can wash bulky items like blankets, pillows or any other items! I’m sure glad I bought this Whirlpool washer.

Only issue so far is when the sensors sense an unbalanced load on a spin cycle, like while doing sheets, it kicks out the spin and starts all over instead of stopping the load. Overall great product, but still learning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Whirlpool front loader for almost 20 years. It could do no wrong. Every load that came out was clean. This new Whirlpool top loader almost never does a perfect job. These are things I find wrong in my loads: 1. Not all clothes get wet all over, even when the setting is on heavy duty, extra rinse, and deep water. 2. Even with extra rinse, black clothes still show lint all over them. Sometimes the lint is very concentrated. 3. Machine seems very sensitive to how much soap is used. If too much soap, there are stains on clothing, and I must rewatch with water only. 4. The washer is so loud compared to my front loader. I mean annoyingly loud, especially when filling the tub with water. I’ve tried different settings, different load sizes, different soap, but these issues remain. I am so sad that I gave up my old front loader for this new top loader. So disappointed!! I want so bad to love and trust this machine, but I don’t.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month or so ago. I absolutely love it . It’s fuller not deep. Makes a lot more sense to me. Easy to get the last bit of laundry outta the tub.

we have had this washer for one month. It’s the biggest piece of crap! It’s INCREDIBLY loud! We can hear it downstairs with the laundry doors closed!!! and don’t get me started on how loud it is if I’m actually upstairs working in my office while laundry is on. I wish we never ever bought this washer. I loved the removable agitator feature but it’s not worth how obnoxious this machine is! A $900 machine and it sounds like a big pile of junk!! Steer and clear, you’ll be so thankful that you did.

Someone else said this machine wastes water. Ha! My machine only puts a couple of inches of water in the tub, the clothes on top are totally dry, and it starts agitating, quite roughly. I have the “deep water” selection on too. My clothes don’t get clean because they aren’t submerged in water. Today I added a few gallons with my hose!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this washer for about a month now and it's been great! There are 4 things I dislike and really they're just me being picky I guess - 1. It's loud, I have a video but I had to be uploaded to YouTube to watch so just look one up and you can see what I mean (master bedroom is one room over and it can clearly be heard in there so laundry at night is not ideal especially with a newborn) 2. No end beep, it's not even an option 3. It takes a while even just on the normal wash load setting and 4. There is no time display to know how long is left on a cycle Apl minor things and things my last washer had that I wish this one did. Overall it's a great washer and does a good job washing clothes, and I love the removable agitator makes washing bedding and blankets easier and makes it so you don't have to do such small loads. The price is reasonable and definitely worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Washer before Christmas. The previous one was over 10 + years old. The new one has a slightly larger capacity but has a Removable Agitator. The Washer makes more noise - louder during the wash, rinse and spin cycle. The water discharge hose lies against the wall. When discharging water it vibrates and begins making a loud noise as it bangs against the wall. A temporary solution was to place a large sponge between the hose and the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the washer less than a week when the connector underneath broke and the washer stopped working mid cycle. A service person was sent out a few days later. He replaced the spade connectors on the wires and the unit was operational again. The error code was hard to find online (the sense, done and lid light would flash followed by just the done light). I wish it was better documented in the manual. The manual is very thin with hardly any information, and having a list of error codes would have helped a lot. Hopefully this description will help someone else. When it is working, the washer does a decent job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago, I had a very old Maytag which held up very long. But I really wanted a removable agitator which my Maytag had. The bonuses I had no idea how efficient this washer would be using very little water! I am extremely happy with it so far. In fact my adult autistic son has figured out how to use some of the features before me! Just grateful to have a new washer that is beyond my expectation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 4’11” and needed a smaller washer. The size is perfect. I actually like the agitator.. it keeps the clothes from getting off balance. The only thing I miss, there is no separate compartment for the fabric softener. I have to use a downy ball and it’s not quite the same. But I like it overall.

This washer has more than enough options without all of the excessive bells and whistles that always lead to problems. As some people have mentioned, it is not the quietest, but that’s why they make doors. Very satisfied so far with clothes cleaner and with excellent spin clothes dry faster !

I’m very disappointed with the spin cycle because it does not spin enough water off and there is no option to increase the strength. I turn it off and reset it to drain and spin for more spinning at the finish of the washing cycle. Clothes require extra drying because they are so wet coming from the washing.

Very disappointed. Wish I had not bought this. Purchased 14 Aug 22. Started having problems within 2 weeks. What I thought was the "Out of Balance" buzzer @ 120dB, was in fact clutch not engaging. I called Whirlpool and got a service appt. for 28 Oct. The actuator was back ordered. New parts were installed on 21 Nov 22. The problem is the actuator, W10913953, is rated at 2.8 Watts which is apparently not strong enough to engage the clutch. The replacement is rated at 4 Watts.

It takes far too long to wash loads and the water bill has increased by 13% in the two months we've had it. If you take the agitator out....all the bottom does is spin and does nothing to clean the top-loaded clothing. I made a bad decision on this one, I would do anything to get another LG brand.

This washing machine is terrible. 1. There's no display for how long or how much longer the cycle will last. When purchasing, we were blinded by the clear glass top (very cool) & didn't realize that it lacked a display. 2. It's loud & moves around. Sometimes we wonder what is going on in the laundry room, and then remember that it's just the washing machine. 3. And the worst thing that I just cannot get past - our dark clothes often have a soap (or something?) residue after the wash cycle. I use liquid soap on the bottom of the machine. I stopped using the fabric softener ball. And our clothes are definitely not this dirty when they go in.
