Very helpful and polite employees

Every time I go to the store, someone greets me and asks what I need. The associates try really hard to help, even when they are not the expert for that particular department. They give directions by giving you an aisle number, trying to be specific as they can. They offer to get the topic expert for you when you need one. They do prompt lot help, in case you need help getting something big into your car.

I needed help regarding a water heater that was Monday and Friday it was installed..

Had a great experience today in the store. Employees were extremely nice.

For the last 18 years we have been satisfied shoppers at this and other Home Depot stores, however our March 5, 2018 experience was negative and disappointing, On checking out, we asked the cashier to recommend someone who could install 2 doors we intended to purchase from you. He told us Home Depot would make a follow-up call to us and in addition to recommending someone, Home Depot would have that person come to our home to measure and assess the door requirements, and give us guidance as to which doors in the store would meet our needs. We agreed. When the Home Depot person phoned, he advised that the installer could come only if we would accept a 90 minute in-home consultation about other Home Depot services. We explained that we had agreed only to someone helping re the door selection and purchase, and refused the in home 90 minute consultation. I am sad to say, the conversation was thus terminated, due to your store's misrepresentation!

Much improved over the past 18 months. I'm not sure if the manager changed or something else happened to sure make it better! I will return shopping there again. It is the closest store to me!.

Home Depot is a very bust place.. On the day I was at the store was not an exception, I was fortunate to meet Geoff in the flooring dept. This guy loves his job. He is very helpful and knowledgeable, he listens to hear what I am thinking and makes recommendations that benefit me. Great guy.

The most frustrating thing about the store is inventory that is either not on the shelves or having the wrong thing in that location additionally is the frustration from employees particularly during the checkout process. The percentage of individuals at the registers with bad attitudes far exceeds anywhere else in the store

I have been working on a home improvement project with my dad. After a few trips to your store I met Geoff in the flooring department. Being new to this I really needed help. I found exactly that with Geoff. His ability and willingness to listen to me and advise me is beyond anything I have experienced before. Geoff even helped me load my car!

This is my "go to" Home Depot store. I know where most of the inventory is located. The associates are friendly, attentive and quick to offer assistance.The store is clean and well stocked. Thank you.

I am a regular Home Depot customer and usually shop at another location closer to my home and have been for years. However, I needed a new tile saw and my Home Depot was out of stock. I came to the Bridgeport store and met Geoff in the flooring department. What a great and knowledgeable guy he is. Geoff made me rethink my Ho,me Depot relationship. I will shop Bridgeport for all my building needs. Great Job finding Geoff.

The store was clean. There was always someone there to help you if you needs help. The people at the paint station was very helpful, and friendly.

My first experience with Home Depot occurred in 2009, when my husband and I were hunting for our first home in Bridgeport. Before we closed on the house, we bought everything we needed at this store and took it back to NYC. Since then, we've shopped here for everything needed for our home and backyard. Usually I look online on the website for inspiration and information and find what I'm looking for easily in the store. If I can't find an item or need assistance an associate is always available and will come back to check on me if needed. The aisles are uncluttered, shelves well stocked and the store is always clean and inviting. I love the garden center, particularly the outdoor area which is always beautiful with the array of plants, trees and garden decor ( so much better than Walmart). About 6 years ago, we purchased 10 Emerald Green Abivortes that were 2 feet tall and are now about 6-10 feet tall! Every plant purchased: Salvia, Purple leaf Sandcherry, Tulips, Lillies and rose bushes, flourish every year thanks to tips from your gardening experts and the assortment of supplies needed to keep our garden growing. This past June we bought a pergola which was the last one ( it was a return). The associate in the department that day actually took the time to check each part one by one to ensure we had everything needed before purchasing. That was awesome customer service! As I write this review, I'm looking around at my house realizing how much we rely on Home Depot for everything we need as homeowners, because most of it came from your store! If my husband needs new tools, equipment, or parts he finds it at Home Depot. He installed faucets, a garbage disposal, an expansion tank and a release pressure valve on the furnace and so many other projects with help from associates from this Home Depot. We came from an apartment without prior knowledge of how to do any of these things, thanks to Home Depot we are diy'ers! I would like to thank all of the associates at store # 6213 Bridgeport, for your patience, knowledge and assistance. Thank you Home Depot, for all the great shopping experiences over the years. See you again real soon... probably tomorrow!

Awesome experience
