The sales representatives at the Home Depot on East H in Chula Vista make shopping a pleasure. The entire staff goes out of their way to be of service.

I went into Home Depot with a big delivery order. We are building a 20 x 20 deck and I had a lot of supplies to order. Both Selene and Caityn made it very easy for me. I just gave them the print out that I made at home and they ordered all of the supplies for me. They were both very pleasant. They even gave me a seat and a cold bottle of water. It was a good experience.

Despite having changed managers several times over the years, the store has seemingly been well run. I do feel that more experienced people should be employed who have worked in their particular field.

went in looking for a certain type of screw. I took a screw that I needed so that I may receive assistance. The individual helping me proceeded to drop my screw. It went under the shelves and she could not retrieve it. I had taken that screw in to make sure I got the right one. losing the item that I brought in to compare is unacceptable. As I was checking out (self serve) the individual passed by me. I asked if she had found the screw. I guess she didn't hear me because she just kept walking.

I was house sitting for my girlfriend who was away on vacation, and I decided to surprise her by cleaning up her garden and taking back two small plants that were dead. I took them to the nearest Home Depot and went to customer service to explain to them the situation and showed the potted plants that were dead and still had the bar codes on them. I did not have the actual receipt so the clerk refused to do anything. These plants were worth probably $25 TOTAL. I tried explaining again but not a budge. I walked out Very Disappointed especially after my girlfriend spent several thousands of dollars at the very same store buying products and materials to renovate her home. It seemed so very petty. I decided to turn around to ask for the managers number and it was passed to me. I called from the parking lot and the kind gentleman, Josh Magee, listened to me and said that of course there would be no problem. He met at the entrance of the store and gave me a credit limit and had me go find two replacement plants. Sharon the clerk in the garden area was very pleasant in helping me out. My Faith is restored and it showed me that Home Depot actually does care still. Lesson learned : Don't let one sullen employee deter you from putting a smile on your loved ones face. THANKS JOSH ! ! !

A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP DURING SPRING HOURS.

The shopping experience would have been better if Frank respected the $20 discount that Dan provided us he only gave us $10 with out explanation.

Depending on who your salesperson is, it is a great location. My wife and I went for flooring and while this store did not have enough is stock, salesperson #LXL1383 (I know, I wish I had her name instead) was VERY helpful and pleasant while helping us setup delivery and was very knowledgeable on what we needed for the installation of our flooring.

When I asked Lalo (D21/22 DH) if he could help me buy a pallet (54 cases) of Weaber Wall boards at some kind of bulk rate discount, he was not interested. The SKU is discontinued and the pallet was in the overhead. He told me that the store would be returning the discontinued inventory to the vendor for full credit, so why would he offer a discount? He made no effort to look up my PRO account, see that I spend around $12,000 per annum. He also made no effort to look up the SKU and see what the margin was (I know from experience that the margin on these products is good) and offer me any discount. All this time we were talking he was right in front of a computer! Customer service and keeping PROs happy - - - FAIL!

Candelaria gave us the worst service ever to me and my kid with disabilities ,horrific experience more than an hour to scan a carpet and 7 items and walked away from us never came back ..

This store is always clean, organized and the staff is always helpful and friendly.
