I bought an air conditioner and one of the guys working helped pick the right one and got it down off the shelf for me. I needed wood screws and a employee helped me pick the right ones and also told me I should pre drill holes so the wood doesn't split. My cashier was also amazing and friendly she got me a cart to put the air conditioner in so I wouldn't have to carry it to the car

Joey the specialist on flooring and window treatments made our job much much easier then anticipated

The "Ryobi Days" deal display/setup was not up yet, so the promotional battery packs weren't available. Rick was nice enough to track one down for me so I didn't have to make another visit.

I have been coming to this store since home improvement stores started. It doesn't feel like a big box store, but like a local family owned business. Employees are helpful and looking to help you on every level. I have done yard sprinklers to whole kitchen remodels with this store. I am always very satisfied with their help and service.

We needed new kitchen cabinets and they were very helpful with the design and ordering.

Bought a washer and dryer over the holidays. Also wanted a washer pedestal, but it was out of stock. When it came back in stock, I bought it along with an install. 4 months to get it, at which point the installers said it could only be installed at the same time as a new washer, it had been too long since I bought the washer, and then left it and drove off when I called the store to confirm. They didn’t even leave the hoses I bought to be used for install.

We purchased a new electric lawn mower. Bill helped us load it onto the cart, through the cashier process and into our truck. Thanks Bill!!

I needed a tool for my project and a guy he’s name is Tony D. helped me a lot with it, he was super friendly and knowledgeable!

Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Quoted 450sq feet for waste on carpet order and install That's was suppose to be "free" They told me told sq feet was 311. So.... almost 50% for waste!??!?! Nope scam for carpet. So minus 1 star

I shop often at The Home Depot, sometimes good experiences, sometimes not so good, but Joshua and Ryan at the Clackamas store went above and beyond to help me with a problem I had that I was sure there wasn't going to be resolution to, and that would only leave me with further headaches when left unresolved. This experience brightened my day and restored my faith in customer service!

I looked on my home depo app for solid core interior doors and could not find any available in stock in portland. I spoke with Shannon in doors and windows at the Clackamas store and she was able to locate 3 for me in Eugene. I was able to pay in the Clackamas store and pick them up in Eugene. Shannon was pleasant and very helpful. It's employees like her that keep me coming back. I would suggest bringing in more solid core doors both interior and exterior as they are rarely available at the home depo stores in the Portland area

Kat Stensrud in the flooring department was very helpful. She educated me on new carpet/padding. I had a very good experience with my carpets being installed.

Sales rep wouldn’t match price set by other HD store that was out of stock on what I needed. After dealing with price they then didn’t want to sell me what they had because it would have left them low on stock, instead wanted me to order and wait 7-10 days for pickup. As a contractor, I can’t wait for materials when they are in stock just because they don’t want to be low on inventory.
