Great products to choose from, friendly helpful staff that understands customer needs. Pretty resonable prices on items I saw, considered to be a good value overall! Keep up the good work and please consider opening a store in Forestdale, Alabama shopping center like this would be nice industrial workers area and people who care about caring for their home needs! Having spent several hours at a competitive home improvement store I entered this Home Depot store less than optimistic about finding someone to help me. Entering the millwork department changed my outlook completely. I was met promptly by a very outgoing young lady, who introduced herself, asking how she might be of help. That alone charmed the socks off me. We promptly got to business asI explained what I was looking for, from that point she was in complete control. The associate had answers for each question plus recommendations to back up her answers. Here friendly professional attitude made my shopping experience a very pleasant one. The matter of shopping took less than a half hour, from “hello” to putting a paid receipt in my pocket. I regret not going to this Home Depot first. I would have saved countless hours of idiotic half answers, switching clerks, note sure about delivery dates, just plain old stupidity. By the way, if you are shopping in the Millwork department I hope you will find TERIKA, she will treat you with respect and kindness and you will surely walk away feeling like you have made a friend.

Cashier overcharged me because evidently she doesn't know how to ring up appliances on sale. I told her no less than 3 times ,that it was not the right price. Turns out cashiers have to scan a barcode at the register. Some one needs to train her. She was rude.aggressive and kind of scary.i had to go thru 3. More people till I just said I need the manager.i told him what was going on. He didn't say much. He took the receipts and paperwork. Said he would ring it up right. Told him to put $80 back on debit. He said it will be cash. He handed me the money paperwork and receipts. Except the first paper one. And then silence. So I took that silence to mean go. He never apologized for anything. Rude cashier. The 3 other people I had to go thru to finally give them $597 for a dishwasher.Maybe they think people will not care because it is Irondale, I guess I will go down 280 or go to Lowe's in Trussville.

I like coming to this Home Depot because its kept clean and organized, and the associates and cashiers are all so friendly and helpful. It is nice to do business at a place that seems to genuinely value you as a customer, and treat you with courtesy and you feel like they genuinely appreciate your business. It is an especially nice store to shop on Black Friday - great deals, and even though you know they've been working long hours, they still are smiling and friendly. There are a couple of other stores that are a bit closer to me, but this is the one I prefer for all of the above reasons. I wish all retail stores could be like this Home Depot

We were assisted very kindly and professionally by Ruthie when we visited the Eastwood HomeDepot.

The store was easy to find. The aisles and bins were clearly marked so you can find your product quickly if you have searched on the internet prior to store visit. On my latest trip I found almost all of the items I needed. They only had 3 of the 8 Matte Clear Coat spray cans that was showing on their website when I looked. They may have sold the others between the time I looked and arrived at the store.

The store was clean. Had no problems finding a sale associate to help me and if they were unable to help, they stayed with me until they found someone who could.

We shopped late, and yet we found the employees extremely courteous and helpful. We were picking up items to help our daughter get settled at school, and we needed help finding things in an unfamiliar store. Everyone was nice and quick to assist.

After numerous projects and even more trips in and out of your store I started thinking about how to solve a personal problem. Most DIY'rs and Carpenter wannabees work in an old pair of sneakers like me. This causes problems with our feet and toes, fungus, soreness, etc. I'd like a new pair of weekend work boots but that requires time and travel to a big shoe warehouse across town. Not interested. Why not bring in a small selection of work boots (half an isle) aimed at meeting the different needs of each construction trade, climate and more. I think think there is $$ to be made with a one stop pick up for supplies, materials, and good for your feet boots. Hearty Man work boots that suit all the trades and retail shoppers. Think about it. How many men walk through HD in need of a new pair of work boots?
