Was charged for a propane tank refill that ended up being totally empty. Their propane tank area is totally disorganized, empties not separated from fulls, employee (this time) had to heft each tank and "feel" by weight what was full and what was not. I was fooled into thinking my refill was good due to the wax cap sealer on it. Told the returns desk and they basically told me, tough luck. Out the $25. Thanks for nothing, Home Depot/El Cerrito. I'm not filling up here again, ever.

Had a quicker time obtaining my products. Things were noticeable. The cashier at the self check out was great.

The employees in this location are friendly and helpful. There have been times when what I came for is out of stock.

Do not visit this store unless your life depended on it and maybe then think twice. Sometimes a lot of Staff doing nothing what you need is generally out of stock bad customer service ruins it for the employees that are actually trying sad there is no other competition nearby

When you are walking into the store from the parking lot there is all kinds of trash and junk left over from previous customers. There doesn't seem to be any interest in management to keep the area clean. The Customer Service/Return counter on a Saturday at 5:30pm was stacked up with customers and not cashiers to handle the lines. Not a good experience.

Tanesha of Richmond store is the best, if you want the best customer service ask for her. Even if she can help you, she will find someone who can. Service like this has been gone for years.... Thanks Tanesha for doing such a great job..... Tariyl

Poor poor customer service

Nice people, and they gave a discount to a Teacher buying plants for her kindergartener's garden project!

Came here to pick up some 4x8 birch plywood expecting that the staff would only be able to make one or two cuts so that I can fit it in my hatchback, but was surprise when Ed in lumber offered to help with more than a couple cuts! Not having a table saw or anything to make clean cuts with myself, this really helped me out tremendously. Thanks a ton Ed in Lumber!

Very friendly employees. This store does get busy on weekends but the people who work here always have a good attitude and are willing to help you find what you need.

The store is very clean , the janitorial staff are constantly sweeping the isles . The products are always well stocked and available. staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable about products in their area of duty Obviously the management are very much involved with the daily operation and posses the gift of promoting strong work ethic among their subordinates.

Great customer service comes from comfronting the confused customer to provide possible help, instead of hiding behind the returns counter asking for assistance from guards... definately the worst experience. This would be my first of all the Home Depot’s i have entered.

Stores a mess. Out of stock items. Employees standing around talking. Not enough knowledgeable help. A bunch of inexperience young kids out of high school and in college. A kid at the service desk I believe his name is Dorian was unprofessional and rude. He was popping his chewing gum. Very, very unprofessional. He also took a long time retrieving my order. My time is valuable and he did not value that enough. How is he even still employed?

People are friendly at the time of my visit, especially the cashier (Melinda), who helped me open a home depot card.

Great cust services

Always easy to find help, even during busy hours. But here's a tip - go as early in the morning as you can, know what you want before you arrive, and you will be in and out in minutes. This store is always well stocked and the employees are always friendly and helpful.

Kitchen design support was very strong.

There is always someone with an orange apron on around every aisle. I never have a problem finding someone to help me with my specific needs, and they will find someone with the expertise I need if they don't know it themselves. So many people have dropped what they're doing and made sure I got what I needed for my visit.

This location, is okay, I believe it could be better. Move some of the items off the floor while customers are shopping, and more help in the garden would be great. But other than that this store is okay with me.

GREAT LOCATION. TOO MANY DAY LABORER'S IN THE LOT. YOU BETTER KNOW WHAT YOU NEED, CAUSE YOU WILL HAVE DIFFICULTIES FINDING HELP. THEIR STOCK IS LIMITED, SO STOCK UP OR SHOP AHEAD. PARKING SUCKS TOO. This store is very convienant, having most things for any kind of work. The people are friendly and helpful. My favorite cashier is Malinda because she's always smiling. Parking is good, also.

I really like the cashiers. They are all friendly and helpful. I try to always use Melinda. She's really nice. All the cashiers are friendly as well as the support team on the floor. The products are easy to find, and in most cases fit the job.
