Eddie in gardening is very helpful. Loaded my heavy items on the cart and joked around while doing so. With so limited contact with people these days it is nice to have a good time while shopping. Thank you Eddie

Well kept store. I received a lot of help from the paint department. They helped me select the paint I actually needed instead of what I thought I needed. Great help!

It seems like visiting this Home Depot is definitely a step down from their stores in other areas. I find common items often out and reordering before running out not occurring. Customer service is definitely a step down. When I shop at the Lompoc store, I actually feel they appreciate my business. In Goleta, it is rare I am asked by an associate if they can help me and trying to find someone to help is hard. Lots of employees walking together talking... but not really attentive to customers. My cashier's name today was Joshua. He was outstanding in his customer service. Asked if he could help me. Asked how I was doing. And thanked me for shopping. I wish the employees in the aisles of the store were this service oriented. Sometimes it seems like a customer is an interruption to them rather than someone they'd like to appreciate for shopping in the store.

Kids that work here don’t know much

The emplyees and Manegers were eager and helpful to find many items we were looking for. If they didn' t have the answer for us, they found someone who new where to find what we were looking for.

The staff doesn't seem overly thrilled to be there which is fine, retail can be a pain, but pretend to be interested or friendly when handling customers. My experience one multiple occasions has been lacking. Items can't be located, guessed are made as to where it could be, several "I dunno" answers from staff. I look at the website to check availability before going and it's frustrating not getting the item or being told to go online when I've gone to the store to get it.

We are always satisfied when shopping Home Depot because the shelves are usually stocked with our needs. The workers are always friendly, helpful and always available. Your paint section is awesome. The bathrooms are always clean which is a must for me.

Homie provided the best customer service we’ve ever received at a hardware store! He took the time to help my roommate and I even though he had already finished his shift. Employees like Homie ensure that I will visit this store again. Thank you!

I usually find employees friendly and helpful but today was an exception. I was looking for someone in the Hardware to ask about a special that was on for a particular battery special that was going on. I found where the batteries were but couldn't find that particular "special" as advertised. I found an employee nearby and he tried to find it for me. He really took some time but still couldn't find it. I went to Customer Service because I really needed to get these for a birthday present for my husband.The gal at Customer Service looked it up, said it shows they have 17 in stock so she called the Hardware Dept. and got someone there to look for it. She said I could wait to hear from him. About 10-15 minutes later Rob from Hardware came with the 2 pk. batteries I wanted! I was thrilled and thanked him. He was appreciative, said that was the only one he could find but was going back to find the others since there is supposed to be 17 in stock. I believe all employees went above and beyond and MOST helpful!

Worst HD. Jeremy Luongo does not do a good job as a store manager. I have emailed him before and he NEVER replied. Chocker! Try the HP in Lompoc, super attentive and helpful staff, not just a bunch of unknowledgeable colleges kids that don't give a hoot! The time to get help/assistance in Goleta is usually 30 to 40 minutes. Seriously!.

John strategized options for our project and directed us to the Home Depot products that would fulfill our desired timeline, budget and design. John understood HOA building requirements, moisture concerns due to location, coordination of deliveries and installation, and practical design approaches. He followed up when issues occurred with vendors and timely returned all our calls. We really appreciate John's expertise, practical knowledge and kindness. Thank You!!

The most general store warehouse

Tyler made my blinds experience painless and enjoyable. I cant say enough good things about this gentleman. Possibly the most helpful employee ever.

Employees in this store run and hide from customers to get out of providing assistance. They are more interested in talking among themselves

This store, which in the past has been a disappointment as far as customer service is concerned, was absolutely terrific on my last visit. Two very helpful employees.. .the guy with the saw who cut my lumber to the size I wanted and the cashier (Samantha) who clocked back on after clocking off in order to expedite our check out were both very kind and considerate.

I went in and bought a ladder and the cashier that helped me Samantha Not only was she Drop dead beautiful as she is very very helpful I would definitely go there

Store was clean, had many precautions throughout the store for saftey distancing and sanitizers at all registers and door entry. I was looking for a certain hand antibacterial soap couldn't find it but julie in garden was able to recommend a similar one. Nick at the service desk was very kind and helpful on checking me out and looking up some items for me.
