It’s quite aggravating when over 3 associates has called to the person over the department for help. 20 minutes of just waiting to be helped is ridiculous and y’all should put y’all customers first.

After making 3 trips to Home Depot within the span of an hour, I have to say the employees there, in the store itself when looking for items, were helpful, pleasant, and very patient with me. My cashier, Bailey, was very friendly, and had an excellent attitude, a "customer first" attitude, that I truly appreciated.

Let me start off by saying the employees at this store are unmatched, Sapphire was extremely helpful from one end of the building to the other. Bailey was extremely friendly with checking me out. Let me not forget Crystal, when I came in was extremely courteous when I walked In seeing if I needed any help from the beginning. These associates need raises, you don’t find customer service like this anymore.

Store is clean, well stocked, and employees generally very helpful.

Store manager is not helpful and does not understand to meaning of customer service. She was not willing to honor a price match guarantee from another Home Depot location and then cancelled the order.

I HAVE LAWNMOWER THAT IS LESS THAN A YEAR OLD& EVEN HAVE PURCHASED 3 YR EXTENDED WARRANTY. WENT TO THE STORE ON 12/28 & SUPERVISOR JEFF TOLD ME HE WOULD HONOR A EVEN EXCHANGE& CASHIER EVEN WROTE THIS DOWN ON RECEIPT PAPER AND THEIR NAMES TO HONOR WHEN I COME BACK. WHEN I CAME BACK 12/29, THE ASSIST. MGR RONIQUE REFUSED TO HONOR JEFF'S PROMISE. SHE SAID SHE IS THE MANAGER ON DUTY AND ABOVE JEFF & DOESN'T CARE WHAT HE PROMISED. ITS HER CALL AND SHE SAID NO.NOT ONLY WOULD SHE NOT HONOR THE EVEN EXCHANGE, NOW SHE WONT EVEN RETURN THE DEFFECTIVE UNIT.RONIQUE SAID SHE EMAILED THE GM WHO IS ON VACATION & HE WILL BACK HER. ASSISTANT MANAGER RONIQUE DOES NOT HAVE THE QUALITIES TO BE A MANAGER AND SHOULD NOT BE IN THAT ROLE. THE EMPLOYEE AT CUSTOMER SERVICE(VICTORIA) WAS REALLY NICE,HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY AND WAS ONLY FOLLOWING HER MANAGER'S LEAD. I ASKED FOR THE GM'S CONTACT INFO OR FOR HIM TO CALL ME, AND RONIQUE SAID NO BC HE IS ON VACATION. I THEN ASKED FOR THE DISTRICT MANAGER CHRIS AND RONIQUE SAID I HAD TO CALL 1800 HOME DEPOT. I SPENT OVER 4 HOURS INSTORE AND GOT NO HELP FROM THE ASSISTANT MANAGER. IT TOOK ME CALLING CORPORATE OFFICE TO TELL THEM WHAT HAPPEN FOR THEM TO TAKE 5 MIN TO FIND ME A SOLUTION.

Other home improvement stores lack personnel and knowledge to be of any help compared to this home depot.

Shawdea in Paints and Arijah is Checkout are phenomenal.

I love Home Depot. They always have everything I need and Kelly the kitchen designer is awesome!

Most knowledgeable employees compared to other surrounding DIY stores.

The knowledge and assistance is much better than other do it yourself stores in the area.

I was greeted when I entered the store by staff that asked if I needed help and was pointed in the right direction and found just what I was looking for! Check out was fast and cashiers were very very friendly! The store was clean and organized. Workers were helpful and knowledgeable. I will be back to shop at the Hammond store again!

Cashier had great customer service and that is rare to find now. She insisted I do the survey and I did on her behalf because she was great and made my checkout easy!

Ms. Akira was professional, very knowledgeable, answered every question, and ultimately was the reason we purchased our product. Home Depot should hire more employees like her.

Fast and friendly service

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have shopped at Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Covington, Slidell, and Jefferson Parish and I have shopped in Hammond, Louisiana. Cleanliness and customer service are the signature of the Hammond Home Depot. Hands down the best Home Depot in the area in customer service.9 out of 10 time you enter the store, it will be clean as well. The store is stocked most of the time and associates will help you find what you are looking for.

Friendly and knowledgeable

Store physical appearance and associates are great. The limited inventory is a pain. Items available at Home Depot locations in Covington, Denham Springs, LaPlace or Kenner is much greater than Hammond. Items on the shelf in those locations is more often than not only available online or pickup at later date

Very clean store with friendly associates! Had what exactly what I was looking for. Was able to get what I needed and get in and out without a long wait.

There are a lot of employees on the floor who are wearing orange vests and who are looking for customers.

I will not shop there again unless forced to for convenience sake. Don't look for any assistance from a store employee... they seem too busy... doing what I have no idea.

Check out with Tasia. She is great and will make you forget your shopping at a confusing store for some like me who had no idea about anything.
