Store was clean and stocked on the items I was looking for. Associates were friendly and helpful trying to help everyone cope with the pandemic.

I do not recommend the delivery service at this time. They failed to complete my express delivery twice. And with a delivery time range between 6am to 8pm, checking my phone and looking outside all day to never recieve the order was not a great experience. To make matters worse, the first time I called I spoke with an associate and they could not answer my question of when it would be delivered but confirmed all items where pulled and awaiting delivery. The same associate said her would call me back in 10 mins with details on when it will deliver. After an hour later with no call, I called back. They told me they attempted the delivery on the first time but was unable to deliver because no one was there. I never received a call Prior to delivery and was home all day, I assume they lied about the reason it never delivered. I did get my money back however. That gave you the second star.

Visited this store on Friday to get drywall and other supplies. Store was clean and well stocked for my needs. The associates were all friendly and asked if I needed any help.

My visits to this store are always pleasant. The employees are very kind and helpful.

If you need assistance from a department employee at Home Depot, be prepared to have one paged and hope that they show up. Otherwise, you are on your own. If you ask an inventory person for help in a department they are working in, you will likely get the answer "I don't know. I only work in inventory". No veteran's discounts at Home Depot unless it Veteran's Day or you are active/retired military.

Very friendly and courteous employees. My cashier, Carolyn, went over and beyond her job to help me with trying to get a HD credit card. She was a very patient lady with a million $ smile. Just because of her, and the stores prices, I will be back!

Every time I shop at this store an employee approaches me and offers help locating the product I need. Other stores do not.

Sheila and the entire Pro Desk at Independence Home Depot are the best in the community.

Went looking for a snowblower and indoor/outdoor carpeting and got excellent assistance from Steven C, Eric and Katie. They all helped me find what I needed and had a great attitude doing it. Steven C was very helpful in price matching a snowblower and then helping me take it and the carpeting out to my car. Nice to know that when I need help with something associates like Steven C, Eric and Katie will be there to help me.

I’ve been to many Home Depot’s in Iowa, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Arizona & this Missouri store, 3006 Independence. This store is superior to any I’ve been in! I give them 5 stars due to friendly and helpful ladies in the store. Kenda in customer service is exceptional!, as well as Cindy and I believe the assistant manager was Gloria. This is a store focused on the customer. If you want good quality human service.. this is your home depot to go to!

Employees avoid customers. When I've requested help, someone would be paged and IF someone showed up, they would have no knowledge of what was needed. Oh, by the way, this always occurs weekdays. Some crack staff you have there!

It's rare these days to find a store or any establishment such as a restaurant whatever to where you have sincere caring employees who truly do care if you're satisfied or not. I find this most often the case at this Home Depot meaning they do truly care. If there's a problem they helped us work it out until it's satisfactory. The employee's attitude don't come off as if I'm a bother to them and it's just too much of a problem to help.. trust me you can find attitudes like that in many stores especially a lot of restaurants but not at this Home Depot. This Home Depot is always clean the aisles are wide the floors are swept ... products are in place not scattered everywhere.. That's appreciated. Other places their parts are in the wrong box making you inspect everything leading to uncertainty and unneeded frustrations. I I have shopped at this Home Depot for a decade maybe a little more it's been that long because they take care of me.

Home Depot in general trains their people well. Employees know where to find product all over the store not just in their department. And each department has well informed experts. I have been going to this this Home Depot for years. It is one of the bigger ones and has well trained employees. The cashiers are always helpful and friendly and also have a good sense of humor!

The store is a better than average professional minded staff. Especially Sheila!

This HD store is a Great location for us. Store is well kept and stocked. Great customer service. Employees are courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. Returns are usually pretty quick and easy for sure. Having a employee (Kai ) at self checkout is great for any issues that may occur as they help expedite the purchase 100% !

I purchase a kitchen appliance package on the Black Friday special. The employee that helped me was very friendly and informed about the products. He went out of his way to pull up photos of kitchens with different colors of cabinets so I could get a better idea of which appliance color to order. I would recommend this store.

Good luck getting help or checking out! Store is not staffed for customer traffic and management evidently believes we'd like to be our own cashiers with SELF CHECKOUT. Not me!
