This store has had it's ups and downs the last six years that I've been visiting it. When the local competitor closed last year, the fear was that this store would take the bad attitude of "We're the only game in town now, like it or not", but instead, they've seemed to go out of their way with a customer centric approach to shoppers, professionals, handimen and DIY'ers alike. Refreshing and so much more helpful than before. Still a little ways to go but I definitely am proud to shop here and interact with the employees now.

Best customer service ever we got helping getting heavy things for our garden and even offered water bottles since it was so so hot outside in this summer day we really appreciate it and thank you for the love

Store was dirty and crowded. Isles had too many displays in them and could hardly walk down some isles and could never get a shopping cart down them. Announcements are in Spanish but this is the U.S.A. and I speak only English. Shopping carts are left all over the parking lot and in some parking spaces that were empty and couldn't be used. Seems this store has gotten worse after the near by competitors store closed. Other Home Depots were not near this bad. Person in the paint dept. was very helpful and asked the right questions to get me the right paint.

This is the best, friendliest store in the metroplex. I have been to the Home Depot in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Allen. The Irving store has the best displays of inventory, the clerks give the best, most useful advice and are very courteous at all times. The store is always clean, and well lit. The products are spaced for the best and easiest way to see the items. It is always a pleasure to come to the Irving store. Thank you for continuing to serve my city,

I always enjoy a visit to this Home Depot. It IS different from others in other parts of town. The employees are friendly and smiling and always willing to help. And I always find what I need! Or, if I can't, someone is always around to help me. Returns are a breeze (if you can find a free lot loader to help unload!) and the cashiers I interact with always have a great attitude. (A special shout out to Tanisha, in customer service/returns!)

Geared toward the trades. But now have gone to ALL self checkout, only 1 checker to help. No real customer service. Associates rush by asking if you are finding everything and don't wait for an answer....zip, they're gone. No longer "People or Service" oriented.

Great customer service from the lady who helped me and I overheard two other associates doing the same for a customer next to me.

I recently visited this store just minutes ago and I had to go through an embarrassing and disgusting experience. I was with my father and we were waiting in line to return something like any other customer would do. Well, when we got to the cashier, one of the assistant store managers told my father that his temporary ID was fake and said that any person could have printed that out through a computer—mind you that the DMV specifically told us that he could use his temporary ID wherever he goes until his new one arrived in the mail. So tell me why this man thinks that he can embarrass my father, proceed to tell him to get out of the store, and then claim with all his mighty authority that his ID was not legimate in front of awaiting people behind us in line. I don’t know about you but this kind of discrimination is something stores like Home Depot should not be enforcing whatsoever. I tried explaining the situation to him and he refused to listen. I’m humiliated and completely devastated that this had to happen to us. This is something that shouldn’t be taught but known already, and coming from one of the assistant store managers? Wow, the reputation sure is something else, so much fora great customer experience.

The associate at the self check out- JaNell is always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. I always go thru self checkout if she’s working. On a scale of 1-10, she’d be a 10

This store is easy to get in and get out of when in a hurry. I have been shopping here for almost three years now. Employees are hard working and very helpful. One trip I learned this week ... look up the item you want online. It will show you the aisle and bin # with the number available to purchase. This makes shopping here easy and quick.

I was in and out fast, thanks to the self checkout, product was there even though there was little inventory of it.(brushes) And also the employees were nice. The only thing I found that need attention is the outside cleanness.

Maybe if someone from The Home Depot could let the loiterers, Illegal aliens at the edge of the property know that loitering isn’t tolerated, but I don’t see that occurring because like most companies, those types of things are tolerated(breaking the law) by being here illegally. No one knows what their motivations are, especially if there is woman who happens to be shopping alone. It should be about keeping the customers safety of the upmost importance. I realize that I’m talking to a wall and nothing is going to change.

It's all about the people. Store #0563 is the best.

Juan in the garden dept. was so knowledgeable and helpful when it came to my plant needs. I do not have a green thumb so he made sure to show me plant options that will be pretty but low maintenance.

Management has been very positive and successful in store readiness for the community.

Store usually has everything I am looking for. Problem I they keep moving some things around and I need help finding them. I was happy to find one employee who when out of her way and spent some time helping me get the river rock I came for that was not in the bin. Charlotte took the time to stop me and check on the back stock and saved me from looking for another store to get the rock. She should be recognized for taking the extra time to help me. I don't like items displayed in the isles and everything should be in the shelves. It's sometimes hard to find someone to help me out and would like to see a store map or someone at the entrance to guide me to the area I needed to get to. Suggest you clear the isles, mark everything available in each Isle and even have a current map available of the store and items at the front door.

Been shoppin here for many, many years and this past week I had to make several trips and I was really surprised by the great vibe the store and the staff have now. It's genuine on every level and it shows. From the paint dept to the cashiers, it was a great trip every trip. Somebodies gettin' it done right! Keep up the great work!

It is employees like Jesus and Karina that keep me coming back to HomeDepot for over 20 years.

The garden area was extremely busy, but the cashier, Deborah, working as fast as she could to keep the line moving, was very upbeat and friendly, and did not make anyone feel rushed.

The manager at this store “Haddy”, is exceptional and will help you with anything you need help with. It seems to be getting harder and harder in today’s world when in employee actually treats you like a customer and not like they’re doing you a favor just to help you. It’s refre, this lady went out of her way to help me all I needed is she is exceptional

Overall Home Depot always seems to make me feel important and appreciated as a customer! But I am especially pleased with the garden center at this Irving store! The manager named Alex and his team are GREAT! A woman named Haddy was my cashier yesterday And she engaged me in conversation and made me feel important.

Debbie in the garden center is one of my favorite people. Such a delight to see every time I visit.
