This is one of the best Home Depot Stores in RI. The reason is due to the associates; they are able to find almost everything in the store. These folks also display great attitudes toward their work and customers. When a product is not available in this store, they often locate it at another HD. These are committed associates and the make shopping a breeze. Special Thanks to IRIS in Customer Service -- always helpful with a smile.

I AM ALWAYS VISITING HOME DEPOT I WAS THERE THE OTHER NITE AND HAD THE MOST FRIENDLY LADY HELPING ME I WOULD LIKE TO THINK SHE IS RECOGNIZE FOR HER POLITENESS AND FRIENDLYNESS SHE BRINGS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.....HER NAME IS (LATISHA) SHE IS IN THE JOHNSTON RI STORE

Both yes and no. Explanation for my answer is because during both my wife and I, visit site employee Nak was very rude, dismissive and unprofessional. We approached him while he was in the nuts/bolts/screws aisle. Kindly said excuse me, he would not acknowledge or look at us, I proceeded to inquire for the location of the coax cable adapter. Still without acknowledging us, he said "Electrical." I said, okay every Home Depot layout is different, where exactly is electrical? He then sucked his teeth in a frustrated demeanor, looked at me and said "take a left and walk straight." Needless to say this entire interaction infuriated us and wanted nothing more but to walk out without making a purchase! Eventually I found what I was searching for and spoke to both Supervisor Latisha and Store Manager Rob about our poor experience.

This store is always stocked, staff is super helpful, and the environment is much different from other Home Depot store I've been to. This is my go to store.

As a resident of Johnston I prefer to give my business to local stores but I will not spend my time doing someone else job. One cashier on the floor on a Saturday morning? Really?

The Cashier Tyisha (TY) has absolutely NO people skills and was as unfriendly as unfriendly could be. I approached her register and greeted her with a "Hi', to which she ignored and didn't respond back. She managed to speak about 5 words throughout my checkout. The first word was the total of my purchase and the other 4 words were "Have a good one". Her behavior is an insult to all the other hard working employees. If Home Depot chooses to keep her employed there, maybe she is best suited working some where she is not in contact with the public.

I would not recommend this store if you want a cashier at a register. There are none with the exception of the lumber line check out Only a fool would check them self out. That represents a lost job for everyone that is open. Smarten up people we are losing more jobs in this country and this policy is a job killer. Home Depot is a multi billion dollar company and all your doing is getting them richer.

Store was cluttered and I was unable to find help when I needed some lumber cut. When I finally did check out with the items I did have, AUBREY was reluctant to provide me with my Military discount and went even further to lie about the managers name and stating he wasn't even in the store. When I asked for a copy of the veteran page she had showed me she then stated we don't have a copy machine in this store so I was out of luck.
