I had the pleasure of interacting with the cashier manager, Marissa. She was kind, helpful, and funny. She helped me get cabinets and also helped me get them into my truck. She was very good at her job and I appreciate her excellent customer service.

Been to store 2times this week. Shopped in several departments. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. Store clean

The worker at self check was awesome, she helped me check out which made things a lot easier and also made sure she thanked me for choosing Home Depot.

Plenty of quality products to choose from no matter what project I'm working on.

The only thing good about this store is the front cashiers. Friendly and professional but real pushy about filling out the surveys on the receipts. Customer service center needs to be retrained should be called no customer service center. Trying to find help in the store is impossible. Either no one around or it’s not their department. Luckily it’s the only Home Depot on the Island so they can have bad customer service.

I bought this six months ago. There was always condensation outside the refrigerator. The technician came out and said it was due to the moisture in Hawaii. In the fourth month the refrigerator section started to freeze everything. I got fully refunded after a long struggle.

Entered store on a mission to pick up material needed for a job. I got everything I needed in a timely manner with the help of a Home Depot employee. All material was at a reasonable price.

There isn’t anything we can’t find !! No matter what we’re looking for or what home projects we do and we do a lot !! We are always satisfied!!

I really like flex seal for quick and easy temporary repairs, and once I asked an associate where it was located in the store, I was very happy to find a full shelf, and the store was very neat and clean.

The employees are very knowledgeable in their field. Tom, in plumbing is a Blessing to have in the Lihue store #1705, along with Mel who roams everywhere, and Shannon in cabinets!!! We love shopping in this Home Depot store and we are regular shoppers here!!! Patti & Lee

Friendliest and most helpful employees of any Home Depot outlet that I have visited. I have only shopped at four different outlets, but this one beats them all. They genuinely care and go above and beyond their job descriptions to help their customers.

Store needs more staff to meet customer needs, also better stocked. I'm not one to write a review, but when you get poor service other customer should be aware of this. Kaua'i is home and being that I live in Florida and can't help my ohana on the island when I feel the need to, it makes me super upset! I was even more upset to read other reviews about this store being rated so low. Please do better than what it has been! They deserve better! We all do!

While we know that living in the most remote center of population in the world has some limitations, the staff have always been so accommodating to explore creative solutions in how they can actualize my goal, almost like they’re on my team. I’m not a tradesperson, nor have I any handy experience (my dad taught my brother “garage stuff” but said I could go vacuum or wash the dishes), but feel more knowledgeable and confident with each visit. Kerry - lumber: has great experience and a LOT of patience (I’m extra). Ana - appliances: excellent product knowledge, warranty and services relevant to our island, as well as took the time to compare and go over options. I never felt upsold and felt she prioritized my best interest. Kimberlynn - customer service: accommodating and humble enough to ask her supervisor for help when she was not familiar with a procedure. That made a huge huge difference! I would rather spend an extra 10 minutes of someone learning something new to accomplish what I needed, rather than a “sorry” or “I don’t know.”

Avoid buying appliances from Ivy. Cold, hostile, lacks enthusiasm, eye contact or good manners. She is quick to tell you she sell the most service contracts but fails to thank you when you buy one.

The associates were piled up at the exits but scarce on the floors. It was difficult to get assistance. Their curbside pickup leaves much to be desired. I waited 3 hours to get my ordered materials some of which was too high to reach or stored off the floor or I would get it myself. No help provided for loading heavy materials. They shouldn't send out a pick up order email if they haven't even pulled the order. This happens far too often.

One star because there was the item I needed in stock, and transaction processed. I don't write reviews but I have time for this one today. I should have asked to be helped with someone who wasn't a passive aggressive, smart mouth who is unsatisfied with her own life to openly talk badly about customers/work associates while getting paid to tell customers they have nothing in stock, and need to be special ordered to avoid doing real work. I will call her - GAD6N5T/georgianna GAD6N5T/georgianna saw me looking around (aggesivly looking for an associate to help me) i'm assuming she could be a shift lead in the appliance department they way she was carrying herself (like her poop doesn't stink). Her greeting was less than pleasant, and while asking her simple questions about rages, and what was in stock I knew this was going to be one of THOSE type of transitions. GAD6N5T/georgianna was opening talking badly (to herself, might I add) about me and other customers in the appliance section. I had to ask over, and over if they had a cooktop in stock and what is the process of ordering either in the store, or online. Her explanation didn't make sense, it was like I was forcing her to do her job and look up what the warehouse had in stock. While searching inventory, a woman who was speaking with an older associate (I wish she was the one who helped me) said "do you have anything lighter in weight" to which she started talking badly about the customer (to herself again). Yeah it doesn't make sense but why don't you focus on me standing in front of you, cuz I'm looking to drop 6 bills on a range? Then GAD6N5T/georgianna starts talking poop to another younger associate about me this time, repeating my questions about cooktops an laughing about it, as if I'm not literally 3 ft away and am deaf. For someone who talks like they know everything they are sure terrible at customer service, and communicating. I will be taking their survey, and I hope they print out my review and post it to know how not to treat a customer.

Sometimes Cashiers and/or Store employees aren’t that friendly or helpful. However my cashier NORINE was excellent. I really needed a friendly smile and she was great. She went the extra mile in doing her job well!

The female employee at the cash register of the Garden Center was most pleasant and helpful, and both the male employees in the Garden Center who helped us load and carry out heavy bags and a large planter were super friendly and helpful.

Randy (RC) in the Door and Windows department was patient and determined to find my older (2-yrs.) order and duplicate it for me even though the information in the computer system was truncated and incomplete. Thanks for your help.

Ivy helped us with our refrigerator purchase today! She was so very pleasant, polite, informative, patient and helpful! We appreciated her excellent service! Mahalo Ivy! :). We were able to locate the products easily, got assistance timely.

Rudy from the tool rental (rvs67p0) was very helpful, got my tool rental/contract up very quickly, I was in and out, he also had great knowledge of the equipment and showed me some tips about the machine I was renting, this wasn’t the first time he has been a big help. Very good employee!
