I have been finding that Home Depot has terribly low stock and often none at all. Help is difficult to find and it seems like the help I do find has no idea about anything... perhaps a lack of training or they just don't care.

If you want to be treated like you are trash go to the pro desk and kirk will be happy to help!

I recently visited the Mesa Home Depot where I had a fantastic experience in outdoor plants. Mike, employee caring for the outdoor plants was so very helpful. I'm not from AZ and taking care of my outdoor plants this summer has been difficult. He suggested the flowers and plants that would do best, suggested the best top soil to use, and also gave me tips on how to manage my dying grass situation. I felt I'd hit the Jackpot with such a knowledgeable and friendly representative. Lastly at checkout, cashier Marcelo handled a difficult situation with ease. I was most grateful.

I received the best and most helpful service I have ever received at a store. Tawn and Barbara in flooring were so kind and so helpful with my flooring project. They truly gave me an exceptional experience and went above and beyond my expectations. They made the entire process smooth. Thank you both for the hard work you put in to help me accomplish the perfect floors!

If you want to rely on a garden expert. Talk to Jill in garden. She's the best. Also a wonderful personality

All employees were friendly, helpful and knowledgable! a rare find these days! They wanted to help you find what you needed. They worked as a team, from the moment we walked in to finish!

Excellent Customer Service… all the associates who assisted me on my shopping to the store are very nice and polite. They are all knowledgeable and very helpful for all the questions I asked. I will definitely coming back for my DIY home improvement. 200% very satisfied customer here. Kudos to all the staff of this store and hope they will continue their excellent service.

Overall, this is one of the better stores in the East Valley. I would not recommend though purchasing anything that requires a third party to deliver and install a product. The company that is contracted to deliver appliances has some of the worst delivery people I have ever seen. Out of the two who delivered my new fridge, one cornered me in my garage and kept asking why I was not married and if I would go out with him. The 2nd set who were supposed to deliver and install a new dishwasher were refusing to install the appliance until I paid them for it, something that I had already done. They drove off with the dishwasher while I was on the phone with Home Depot trying to determine a solution. While management at Home Depot was very helpful in attempting to resolve this, I ended up cancelling the order as I did not feel safe allowing anyone from this third party company onto my property. I do hope that Home Depot looks very closely at who they are choosing to represent them moving forward.

After shopping at this conveniently located Riverview Home Depot store for 12+ years, I've consistently had a satisfying shopping experience. The greeters at the door are always pleasant, even offering a cold water (before covid) on extremely hot summers. The store is always clean, their associates are pleasant and helpful, and I always seem to find what I'm looking for. On the occasion where they may not carry what I need, they'll even advise me where I may find that [usually hard-to-find or outdated] item. I usually don't do online reviews, but, after their associates went above and beyond this past weekend - they turned a frustrating task I was into - to 100% Satisfaction, I decided it's about time I recognize this store over the years.

Becky was so nice and kind. She helped me find the things that I needed and also made me a key. She made me feel important.

Very satisfied with this store and the salesperson, only issue was the delivery. Delivery was rescheduled to next day after stated, don't know how a range could not be delivered from warehouse to store in a weeks time for scheduled delivery

The Home Depot return policy regarding purchases made with store credit / gift cards is unfair. Home Depot is treating ALL customers like they thieves. I was told "the only way anyone gets store credit is by stealing something and returning it without a receipt since it was stolen." I have never stolen anything from Home Depot and any time I have a return, I have my receipt with me. Often Home Depot associates are perhaps lazy or scamming customers and ask if I would mind the return being done on store credit because that is "easier." I have always accepted that because I did not want to make anyones job more difficult but then I learned the hard way that if I make a purchase with store credit / gift card and attempt to return it WITH MY RECEIPT, the transaction will be denied. Had I known this before hand, I would have never accepted store credit and would have insisted any return go back on my credit card. I was told by a customer service rep at corporate headquarters, "this is an internal policy we don't share with customers." Sounds like a scam to me... Let customers shop using store credit and if a return is attempted, deny it and the customer is stuck with something that won't work for them and Home Depot up's their sales..... Great way to loose customers to other home improvement stores!

This store is always busy, the employees are always friendly and helpful. It is very well organized.

I want to say the store is well planned out and I almost always am in the veggies and flowers section in the back. Nancy greeted me as I came in the door and was very pleasant knowing someone likes to see you come in. I got all the veggies I came for and again Nancy was at the register and offered so much help to me getting everything in my bag as I was riding the buzz transport here in Mesa and needed to carry it all home. One of my plants leaked on her counter and I apolgized and she said happens all the time. Very courteous and friendly - would to see her again and visit the store for more items. I got more than I was planning buying but great trip for me.

I was after a very specific item and I got excellent help in tracking down that item.

I was BLOWN away with gratitude today at the Home Depot at Riverview in Mesa, AZ! My cashier literally gave me $50.00, no kidding! I was deciding on what to put back due to low funds, and she asked if I wanted to open a Home Depot card and I would get, I think, a $50.00 discount on my purchase. I told her I already had one and did not want to open another line of credit. She then says, "I'm going to give you a $50.00 discount as a customer satisfaction gift." WHAT?!!! UNHEARD OF!!! I was so blown away, I literally cried tears of gratitude! Thank you! I usually shop at this Home Depot as it is near me, and I usually have really nice experiences with the employees I encounter, but this, this was mind blowing!

Helpful/friendly people all around ready to answer or help you serch for what you looking for. Special thanks to Nancy, on the tool department. If you ever in that area you will be in good hands.

J.R. in doors and windows section is wonderful! He treated us with warmth and kindness, he helped get our door ordered with little to no issues. He remembered us from our last visit and welcomed us. He remembers and uses names through the whole interaction and takes ownership of the interaction from beginning to end! Way to go J.R. thank you for all your help :)

Recently the customer service is lacking in this particular store. Employees seem to be more interested in their cell phones and talking to each other than actually assisting customers. This is very disappointing.

This is probably my favorite HD. It is certainly not the closest to my home, but the employees here are pleasant, friendly and extremely helpful. Very customer service oriented, which is certainly not the case at my neighborhood HD. Store is always clean, well organized and well stocked. The employees are well informed on policies and procedures when it comes to ordering an delivery. Exceptional experience at the Pro Desk first, then with questions at self check out. Fantastic team!

Store seems be well stocked up for everything I need and able to get in and out very efficiently.

This was planned to be a quick trip and I did not walk round the store. Mission was to ask for their help with an order I had attempted on line. Those customer service employees are quite sharp and Joanne solved my problems. She did not give up on a complex issue. So glad I did the in-person visit to this store.

I love coming to this specific home depot because the employees are the nicest in the world, I am forever grateful with Matt from the paint section he helped me so much and went above and beyond to explain the finished of the paint and which one was the best for my specific project. I saw him utilizing hand sanitizer during out interactions and that made me feel more at peace in this store He guided me to the perfect roller for pain too and I got a deal thanks to Him God bless all of you and Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to all of you

Always helpful employees

Regarding recent purchases I was especially pleased with employee help in the plumbing dept. and I am very happy with the quality of the garden dept. merchandise, but they could label the plants better and the care required. Floor workers and cashiers are professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

Products were very organized in the shelves, employees were very friendly and helpful.
