Are Kids Workshops offered at the Milford Home Depot?

Yes, the Milford store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am-noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to check the availability of the kits.

Does The Home Depot Milford offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items. We'll let you know via text message or email when your order is ready at the store. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

Picking up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" text message or email to tell us in the app that you're on the way.
3. After you get to the store, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space, which is usually located near the front of the store.
4. Check in through the app to tell us you've arrived.

cannot sell the mulch that is right in front of us
I arrived to buy Vigoro Mulch which was on sale for $2/bag. The cashier rang me up and I proceeded to the pick up area outside. I pulled up to the Vigoro mulch and the person loading items said she could not sell me any Vigoro mulch. I asked "why?" since it was right there, but she declined to answer. She suggested I could go to the back of the outdoor cage and get some there. This struck me as stupid, as I was right in front of the mulch. A manager, Scott, re-emphasized he could not sell the Vigoro mulch and suggested I get Scotts instead. This meant I had to go to customer service to refund the Vigoro, then back through the checkout to get the Scotts. I asked to see another manager, but all I got was Scott again, who declared that he had already talked to me and turned around. This process should have taken 10 minutes, but instead took about 30 minutes, The cashiers, like Heather M., and loading people were ok, but they would tell or didn’t know why they couldn’t sell Vigoro mulch and the manager, Scott, was unconcerned, unhelpful, abrupt, and indifferent. This was very bad service in a time where marginally bad service is the norm.

    The employees always will or will find someone to help. I bought the wrong items and did not have the box; they took it back without concern.

            Complete Debacle from Start to Finish
            This was one of the most grotesque shopping experiences I've ever had from the time my carpet was ordered incorrectly, to the measurer going to the wrong address, to my name being spelled incorrectly in their system, to the installers failing to bring carpet for one of 2 rooms to be carpeted, to them leaving and stating that the 1 room they brought the carpet for was measured incorrectly, to management taking forever to call regarding an explanation, to the thousands of dollars this garbage cost me and my wife in time off work and additional nursing home costs my mom will incur at $305/day, to the horrific attitude of the person who initially handled the situation, to the preposterous remedy offered that fell way short of even remotely making me whole. I am embarrassed for you because you're too unprofessional to be embarrassed for yourselves.

                Ridiculous Locking Policy
                Needed to buy a replacement Ryobi Drill. New model has some downgrades. Selector switch feels cheaper, no magnetized tray on the base anymore. If I wasn't already committed to the Ryobi line, probably would not have bought. It is stupid to treat long-time loyal customers like thieves by locking everything up and making us wait 10 minutes for someone to come unlock. There is plenty of inventory control technology available without inconveniencing and insulting your customers. Home Depot just doesn't want to spend the money.
