The checkout system at this Home Depot is terrible and the busier it gets the worse it seems to be. People cut in front of others because there are no signs as to where a line should form and employees yelling customers because they are not lining up correctly. It should be the same layout as the return / customer service area

I was able to walk in HomeDepot after a long day at work, get great customer service and order the blinds that I wanted all within 30 minutes.

We always go to Home Depot to gather our renovation supplies, and we are never disappointed.

Checking out here is always a Breeze. The staff who is doing checkout is extremely helpful and kind!

We bought three Kwikset with lever handles and deadbolts for our home. Ryan in Hardware reset one the lock on one sets so they were all keyed the same. The Associates in the store were very friendly and helpful. Very refreshing!!

Lots of clutter in every aisle, at endcaps and at checkouts.

I have always been able to find the important supplies for my Koi pond when I need them in a hurry...realized I was out of Chlorine Remover as I topped off my pond this morning. Ran to my corner store and they had exactly what I needed as usual.

Adina Bali is my "go to" with flooring and blinds at the Northville Home Depot. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She never rushes you even while other customers are waiting. Very friendly and helpful. Thanks Adina!

I live in Livonia. This store is just over the border in Northville. It is consistently less crowded than the store in the heart of Livonia on Middlebelt, so my husband and I go to this one. It seems to be just as well stocked and while traffic can be a little congested at the corner of 7 & Haggerty, it's overall easier to get to than the Livonia HD as well, especially on weekends.

The employees as this location go above and beyond to help with shoppers needs.

From start to finish amazing experience. Yaquta Marvi at customer service was fabulous in every way... and I can't thank her enough for how helpful she was. She went above any beyond to help us find what we were looking for, even when the item wasn't in the computer. While we were waiting for the speedy forklift service to retrieve the item Yaquta was very personable and we had a great chat to pass the time. Kudos to the store manager Joe Corsi as well for the help he provided behind the scene.

Since moving to Livonia, we have visited this store several times and are impressed with the skilled help and friendly service. An ample number of employees are always on the floor--willing to help in selecting products or explaining steps. This is the best Home Depot we have visited--it's our "go to" place for home improvement materials!

Sales associate Adina was very very helpful. Curious, thorough and thoughtful.

During self checkout I was approached by Sheryl. She looked in my cart and asked if I had “remembered “ to scan the items that were in the top portion of the cart. My receipt was in my hand. I asked if she wanted to see the receipt and she responded “yes I would. I didn’t see you scan because I turned my back for a minute “. Everything in the cart was accounted for — 4 bottles of ammo, 2 bottles of bleach, and 2 boxes of expensive specialty light bulbs. She even counted the items out loud! If they still had cashiers I never would have gone to self checkout. She never apologized and as I was bagging my purchase, I did not see her approach any other customer or count their items. This was embarrassing and offensive.

Home Depot goes above and beyond in service to customers

After finding the items we wanted, my boyfriend and I went to a self-checkout lane. BF couldn’t figure out how to enter his military ID for the discount, so he asked a cashier for help. She told him they no longer offered a military discount—which we knew was BS, since we’d been there just two days before and had no problem. When he pressed her on it, she finally found entered the code on the screen, but didn’t look too happy about it. Maybe it was too much work for her? But if someone is willing to put his life on the line for HER life and freedom, I don’t think it’s too much to ask that SHE do her stinkin’ job!

I went in to purchase the materials I needed for a project I am working on for my job in the public schools. at each department some asked to help. This type of job not being my expertise, I was beyond grateful for the willing ness to help. I did not have to seek anyone out, they came up to me, and we interested in my project from the beginning. Maki g various suggestions. Then at checkout the cashier noticed I might have missed something and recommended it. Jenny was amazing and I am extra grateful as she saved me another trip to the store. Thanks again Jenny!

Jake took care of us from the time we walked in the store and made sure we got the right product for our project. Very knowledgeable very helpful.

I normally go to this store as this is the closest to me. I returned multiple items today but the associate failed to scan one item and refund me $14 on a caulking tube. I did mention to her that she did not scan one item but she said she did.

Our family has shopped here for the last 30 years. From gardening to home repair to painting, we head to the Northville Home Depot. Helpful staff, well stocked and generally clean, this store has a lot to offer. Great place to browse when you need to change things up and need some inspiration.

At check out I was asked if I wanted to open a Home Depot credit card to get $70 off my purchase. I was unable to because of a temporary freeze on my credit reports, but Barbara said that she would give me a $25 discount without asking.
