I was pleasantly surprised with my experience of the staff at this Home Depot. Everyone along the way was pleasant, professional, & concerned that I was satisfied with my purchase and ultimate return and credit. The problem was not the Home Depot staff or product (Whirlpool dishwasher) but its third-party installers from Daryl Flood. They lost the sale when they did not install the dishwasher properly, were rough and incorrigible in my home. Daryl Flood lost the sale; Home Depot won my business back.

Tried to purchase on line as website indicated 17 items of what I wanted in stock at Sunset Valley store in Austin. After no contact for several hours from local store to let me know item ready for pickup I cancelled order and went to store. Got to store and no one could locate any one of the 17 items for me to purchase. Decided to buy similar item and when purchasing was not able to use 10% coupon because it said it was redeemed with on line purchase. No one at the store was of any help. I can't imagine a worse experience. Lastly, this is a dirty cluttered old store that should be replaced with a newer more modern store. Expect far more from HD and got far less.

Our trip was a bit hectic and chaotic, but given a black Friday sale it was expected. However, I did not think that I would be told several times by young associates that "they didn't know where the item would be and that I should ask someone else." This got a bit irritating and as many times as I wanted to walk out the store we finished shopping. for each younger associate you can feel their energy in not want to be there or even help. It took waiting 5 minutes to ask an older associate for help, the only reason for waiting is because there were literal lines of customers seeking help all knowing that they would actually help them and not be turned away. It was until we went to the check out and met Ms. Cecilia. biggest smile in the store with a bright attitude that turned our frustration into peace. I thank her gracefully if it had not been for her I would probably have taken the frustration home. All it literally takes is ONE person to show they care for not only their customers but their job and she showed both! So if you find yourself in the Home Depot and Ms. Ceceila is your cashier be assured that your departure will be the highlight of your day.

This store seems to always have what I am looking for and I don't have to run all over Austin to get what I need. The staff is super friendly and helpful!!!

Patrick in Lumber went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. Overall all the employees were attentive and friendly. I love this location.

They failed to credit my credit card for a returned item. They claim it posted and is a problem with the credit card company. I had to open a claim with the CC company to investigate.

Great store always helpful and courteous employees and if they aren't particularly knowledgeable in a particular area they find someone who is. Cecilia the cashier who helped me today was wonderful and should be commended for her professionalism and customer service.

My experiences going into Home Depots in the past have been hit or miss- mostly at another HD down the road. This Friday night I hit the jackpot with Henry helping out in the electrical aisle and Tyson checking me out at the registers! Not my first choice of what to do on a Friday night but not a bad choice walking away a highly satisfied customer thanks to the help I had.

Plenty of parking, clean and tidy store and surroundings, generally friendly and helpful staff, and good stock of items that satisfy most home improvement needs.

Best staffed HD store I have been in. I asked and pay scale begins $2 or $3 higher than other HD stores I have been in (like in KC or St Lu). Employees available, helpful, and friendly out in depts. Cashier was excellent also.

Best experience EVER. Employees willing to assist in all aspects of selecting products. Bonnie us the best cashier ever! Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be working at Home Depot.

Henry in the lights dept and Adel in the customer service dept were absolutely wonderful employees. They were so friendly and helpful, and seem very hard working. The customer service they gave made my shopping experience at this location great! You don’t see service like that anymore. Highly recommend

Excellent customer service from sales cashier IRIE she went the extra mile to locate a patio set for me where I live. She set everything up so that I could pick up and had it assembled for me. Im 4 hours from home and traveling so it made it perfect for me. I really appreciate someone that goes the extra mile to deliver Excellent customer service. IRIE IS TRUELY TOP IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. The store was very clean and tidy. If you get the opportunity when you check out get into Cecilia's line. She is very friendly.

They have the B team working in the evenings. Service desk reported items weren't in stock when I could easily look them up on the home depot app and website.... and verified they were on the shelf. Checkout cashier incorrectly counted 31 instead of 20 packages of flooring... not once but twice.

Great people, excellent selection, good prices.

It has charming south Austin associates. The staff are exceptional, friendly and helpful. We'd prefer if items were listed online with the correct location (isles/bay) and easier to find. They are often moved around and it takes extra time to shop, but I can always find someone to help. Cecilia, at the till saved me $100 on a pressure washer. Also saved $100 for paint sprayer last year. I love a deal. It makes my day. :-)

Excellent selection of plants and organic seeds, My cashier, Melissa was knowledgeable, quick, kind and compassionate. It's always helps a shopping experiencing to have a happy, cheerful and helpful cashier. Melissa is very nice with excellent people skills.
