Nearby; Seekonk, MA is my Home Depot stop... From the top of management through every department, I have had positive, helpful and courteous experiences, time and again, at this particular store... large enough to boast a good inventory, not so large as to get lost and confused... folks remember my face, and are always pleasant to deal with... this is the place I would recommend... even the rest rooms are as they should be, sanitary and clean...

Today, I went to Home Depot in Seekonk MA to have pick up some 4X4 wood and have it cut for a fundraiser project I am doing with my Life Skills Students at East Providence High School. I was so very fortunate to run into "Jim" in the wood area who was unbelievably kind and helpful. As Jim began to cut the wood for me, he asked what the wood was for. I began to tell him where I worked at that my students needed to raise money for community outings, cooking activities and daily living skills. I explained that students in the life skills program are severe and profoundly disabled and that they learn through doing. We are doing a fundraiser where the students are creating pencil holders out of wood, decorating them and selling them to teachers/staff. Jim immediately called his boss and asked for permission to have the wood donated; this he did not have to do! He then cut the wood and offered to put the pencil holes in himself as well. He went so far beyond to help my students with this project! My only expectation was to have help cutting the wood. He cut the wood, had holes put in the wood and donated the wood to my classroom. He is a rare gem and Home Depot is lucky to have such a hardworking, kind and friendly employee who works there. Loved my experience and we will be making "Jim" a special pencil holder, hand delivered by my students to show our appreciation. The "Jims" of the world are far and few between in the customer service field, I feel lucky to have met Jim today and it was great to be reminded that good people still exist!

I shopped for a window shade yesterday ( Oct. 7, 2019), and was very pleased with the service. Carl, in that department knew how to get the exact measurements on a window shade. He was very helpful , efficient, knowledgable and nice. Carl is an asset to the company. Also, I was very pleased that the prices of shades are more affordable than in the past. Great shopping experience. I didn't have to go hunting for somebody to help me - got super service right away! The shade was cut perfectly!

Brendan C. helped make the best decisions when it came to picking out a storm and entry door solution. He was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He made our experience less stressful as it has taken us some time to decide on a solution for our project.

The store has the new checkout system and it looks nicer.

I was very happy it’s the ability to find a sales associate in the department never the less and know about what’s in the department that has experience in what he is working with!

My check-out person Joanne was very pleasant and asked me if I found everything I was looking for.

I went into the store on 4/28 at 12:50 looking at paint to match my chipping walls. With nothing but a tiny peice of paint that fell off. One gentleman at the desk asked if I needed help and was very polite when I said I was just looking around and trying to decide on a paint color. When I approached the desk he was busy with another customer so another employee, Rachel, I believe asked how she could help me. I asked for 2 samples sized paint cans and handed her the swatches. The gentleman (boy maybe early 20s) asked if I made a decision. I explained I was trying to match my walls with no clue on the shade and this would be my 3rd time with samples and a bunch of swatches. Both employees explained to me how I could take a nickle sized paint chip and bring it in to be matched. After getting home and failing with my samples I went back in with the paint sample. The two employees were still there and smiling and remembered our previous conversation. I was able to get the paint I needed and even laughed about the failed attempts with employees. Also at the register's. Since I cashed out twice. Both cashiers were very courteous and pleasant. I definitely will be making home depot my number one home improvement store from now on.

Today I was assisted by Job at the Seekonk, MA location. Joe was very busy working in a closed off section of the store but went out of his way to help me locate a particular area rug. The store only had one in stock and I was having a difficult time locating it. Joe noticed and offered assistance. He was able to locate the rug in under 5 minutes. He couldn't of been more helpful, professional, and knowledgeable.

Everyone has always been very helpful at the store. Especially at the pro desk.

I had a complicated purchase need which was very graciously completed by the customer service cashier. She went above and beyond to assist. Other employees also were most helpful.

Always find exactly what I am looking for ....

The store was clean and items were easy to find. An associate named Briana went a live and beyond to help me find the Items needed to finish a project I was working on. When a sander was not in stock she let me know that a shipment was coming in a few days, and took my information so she could follow up with me and let me know when they come in. She called me when they came in and I was able to purchase them. She handles customers very well especially some rude ones. As a gentleman before me was very rude and called her names and she continued to provide excellent customer service to him as if he never made vulgar comments. Overall my trips to Home Depot have been great. Briana makes the experience better with the good energy she radiates. Other associates are helpful as well but briana stands out the most.
