Best Home Depot I have ever went too! The staff is extremely helpful and goes the extra mile to take care of your needs. I had the pleasure of dealing with Ed, Louis and Fritz and they all went out of their way to deliver a quality shopping experience that i just cannot stop talking about. Each employee at this location was so friendly and helpful that it has made me a lifelong customer of Home Depot. I will go out of my way to deal with the employees at this store again.

Christina was very helpful and made shopping for us easy. However, Lenoxx the employee behind customer service was very rude and disrespectful to his co workers and it was loud enough for everyone to hear. He doesn’t respect the other workers or even customers to verbally abuse others. It was Inappropriate and i don’t believe that his co workers should feel uncomfortable to work with him and they were Uncomfortable .

Employees were very helpful in guiding me with my project and finding everything I needed.

Christina was excellent. She knew where this esoteric item was. Also it is Christmas, not holiday, schmuck.

The employees of this store are extremely knowledgeable about the different areas they work in. they were polite, thorough and helpful in helping me make some decisions about replacing smy existing verticals and window coverings. They made the experience quite pleasant and I cannot praise them enough.

We just ordered a kitchen remodel from the Commack Store and our Kitchen Designer Paul H. was terrific. He and the Home Depot made making a major purchase convenient, non stressful, informative and almost fun. We had many choices when it came to purchasing our new kitchen, The Home Depot Commack and Paul H. are the reasons why we spent our money wisely at that location.

Terrible customer service. Employees on there phones standing around. No help to customers. Waited 45min for help after radio called for assistance 3 times. Manager stated “no one working in electrical today” and offered no assistance. A garden associate had to retrieve electrical stock and had no idea what we were looking for. Upon check out, cashier had no idea what to do when the case item came up not on file. Charged for each unit instead of the case price. Online showed case discount if $12 each and bought 4 cases. Store manager Jay did not honor nor offer a discount. Process took over an hour which should have taken 10 min at max if shelves were stocked correctly and associates were in there departments.

Employees are great there especially one. His name is Thomas in the carpet flooring department. He knows everything and is educated to help you in what you need. Very helpful

While all Home Depots give great service and quality products, this one, behind Commack Rd and Motor Pkwy, is one of the best I've been in, both locally and out-of-area, thanks to personnable (not patronizing), knowledgeable, staff. They have almost everything I need, in stock, in store; if not, they almost, certainly, have it available online, where the items may be shipped-to-store for free, usually available for pick-up within the week, and all at competitive prices versus similar stores and even local hardware chain stores. I realize this sounds like an "in" advertisement, but, when everything is done right - - even returns, when necessary - - then it is self-proving!

If your at home depot in Smithtown, look for Regina. She is friendly and always willing to help. .

Every time I have had any problem the staff always made me feel like I was important and what I had to say was valid also the problem was always fixed I would recommend the store and staff highly thank you

Homedepot is my preferred home improvement store- The Smithtown location Store 6167 location is neat and the associates are ALL knowledgeable and provide a high level of customer service. This particular day I shopped at the homedepot on Crooked Hill Road and the cashier VINCENT was extremely polite and was a pleasure dealing with--having an HR background I recognize how difficult it is to find good help ---employees that are engaged and represent the company in the best light .....Vincent is one of those employees he is a keeper!!!

All of the employee's at this store were truly committed to customer satisfaction! I was assisted by 3 staff members who went out of their way to make sure that the customer was helped with anything they needed.

My total experience was not all that bad. Was mostly disappointed that two different stores didn't have what was advertised. The first associate wasn't sure where I might find the item I was looking for. The next associate knew exactly where to look. I prefer this store to the one in my town (C. Islip).

The store is generally clean and well stocked with plenty of helpful store employees. The problem is that there are literally no human cashiers to help with checkout and the single employee at the self checkout is overwhelmed with too many customers making large, heavy purchases. Home Depot needs to pay for more cashiers to man the registers. Try buying 65 2x6x8, 40 pcs sheetrock, 20 80lb bags of concrete, 2 buckets of spakle, 2 corner beads, 80 2x4x8, 10 lengths of 3/4 copper pipe, 80 copper fittings, 25 sheets of 3/4 plywood, etc at the self checkout. Major cheapskate fail on management's part. Go here to buy 1 or 2 items at most, and be prepared to wait 30 minutes for the self checkout, since there's only 1 attendant to help everyone. This is a home improvement store, last time I checked, not a supermarket. There's another home improvement store literally across the street with plenty of cashiers on hand to assist at checkout.

I've been coming to this particular location since it opened up. There's a handful of people there you can count on. Those people need to be rewarded......and you know who they are!
