How do I rent a tool?
Stop by your local Rental Center to see which tools you can rent. You can also call first to confirm a tool's availability, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your favorite store. If it's not, try another nearby store or contact our Rental Center associates to learn where that tool may be available. Can I rent a tool by the hour?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement jobs may only require a rental for a few hours, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the week, month, or day, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I bring the tools back?
It's fine to return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any grime and dust from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, call your rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals typically come with blades, but we recommend that you purchase a new one. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, buy a suitable blade, just in case.
