Employees here go above and beyond ! I had a great experience with Giles at this store in Apex NC when the bath cabinet I ordered on line was damaged in delivery. I returned it to the store and I was really needing to replace it with another one quickly. Giles took me back to the bath cabinet section and patiently helped me brainstorm until we found a cabinet and vanity top that met my needs. Then he coordinated the retrieval of it because it was on the very top shelf in the store and needed a special machine to get it down. It's so rare these days to find someone to help you who actually will help you!!! Cudos to Giles and the folks at the Home Depot in Apex NC ! He got the help needed to get the cabinet down and safely loaded into our truck. The he helped me find 2 more items !

Staff manning aisles were always helpful. I can't say enough good words for how helpful they are. Staff manning the customer service desk can be perfect/ideal role models how to provide customer (no) service. They would not bother to ask but seem to act as "know it all" and when they realize they should have asked for details in the first place, they blame it on the computer. One thing they know for sure is "I don't know". This strange disconnect between helpful staff on the floor and the disgruntled staff manning customer service is hard to fathom! If it had been one encounter, I would have chalked it to the person having a bad moment. 2 visits and 2 phone calls over a period 4 days means I interacted with at least 2 different individuals. Experiencing consistently bad customer service seem to indicate the need to educate. I am a fan of HD simply because it helps me to locate items I want and tells me which aisle/rack/shelf has what I need and sends me a text message with the photo of the item and aisle/shelf info. This has saved considerable time for me. Having said that, this recent experience over the past 4 days (2 trips and 2 phone calls) will make me think twice before I enter HD in Apex, NC.

This Home Depot had the items I needed in stock; the two Home Depots in Durham, NC, near my home did not have the items in stock. Donna in the Garden Shop was more knowledgeable about plants and more helpful and kinder than the employees in any other Home Depot Store. Before driving an hour to this store, she texted a photo of the items I needed to be sure exactly what I needed and I appreciated that so much. They also put the heavy items into my car and I appreciated that because at age 83 I am not quite as strong as I use to be. My purchase totaled $75.97. Thank you for the great shopping experience at the Apex Home Depot.

I was looking for this particular outdoor lighting sconces for my new garage. Looked everywhere and found them (last two) at the HD in Apex. Lisa foune them, read me the specs, tagged both items with my name to hold, took the to customer servce and told them I was on the way. I got there walked up, they new me and put my new stuff in my cart, walked me to checkout and I was on my way. Took no more than 10 minutes and I was on my way home. Excellence!

I always can count on the Home Depot store at Apex to find the best price and high quality products. The store employees are very polite and helpful. As a DIY person I always need help figuring out my next project and I count on them for that:)

Our Apex HOME DEPOT store is always tidy and the employee's are awesome!!

The store was clean and very nicely laid out. The prices were excellent. I am a handicapped person with TBI and also walk with a cane. I am usually very slow in identifying and finding items I look for in big stores. I had 3 different associates offer me assistance this morning! 1 on the outside at the entrance door, 1 in a long aisle as I was trying to find the aisle I that had what I came there for and 1 at the self checkout! That was incredible assistance for me!!

Excellent customer service. I felt well taken care of. Will definitely keep going back. Everyone was very friendly and determined to make sure my needs were addressed.

Issues with online order fulfillment. Carts for lumber not available because they were tied up with orders that were not moving. Service associates were not helpful or readily available. The flow within the store was a total mess. Product availability was not good for lumber. The contractor entrance being closed creates a nightmare and the parking lot is not conducive to loading vehicles due to contractors entrance closed. There does not seem to be any leadership within the departments. Store manager needs to get out on the floor and fix this mess. I won’t be going back any time soon.

A store differentiates itself by how it reacts when things go wrong. Ashley G. Assistant Store Manager is an example of excellence in professional conduct. She really cares and works hard to make sure you get what you want and need. It seems like she is not only doing her job, she cares about the people she serves and the excels in her efforts. The problem she resolved for me was not even created by the store it was by homedepot.com. As a representative of Home Depot she made sure I was treated fairly, my problems were resolved and followed up to make sure I was happy and satisfied. Wow!!! That is not something you find at most stores. With service like this, I won't go anywhere but to the Apex location.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The store has almost everything needed for the Home improvement.

This store is awesome. When you walk in they actually ask if you need help and walk you to where the products are! Their competitors are no where to be found in my experience!! Try them out as they are happy employees and love to help their customers!

Home Depot in Apex rates 5-stars PLUS! Store associates are always helpful, professional, and courteous! The store manager is very professional, cordial, friendly and it is obvious she is focused on customer satisfaction. The store shelves are stocked well (no empty holes). I can find what I need easily, and if I can't there is always a smiling store associate to help me! My experience is that the people at this store always go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction! It's a great store!

Joseph in the flooring department offers great customer service, a friendly smile, and knowledge of products. Roxanne at the customer service desk is exceptional at her job. She is happy to provide a solution to a challenging transaction.

I like customer service at Home Depot. Customer service is great! Prices are great. Having self checkout is not what I like, perhaps getting paid for self checkout would be great! An employee helped me check out this time and greatly appreciate it, self checkout is not what we all want unless we get paid to do it. Less jobs for people. I think we all do enough when we go look for the things we need. Still have to go to self check ourselves when all the cash registers are closed. I believe in good customer service not self service when we don't have a salary or are Home Depot employees.

As soon as I got out my truck, an employee kindly answered my question. He went straight to gettint the wheat straws i need it and have it ready for me, before I went and pay...that was excelente services...I hope they get a raise if they haven't got one. Really good serviece. My respect.

This store continues to go downhill and although close is no longer convenient due to lack of service. They have moved to almost all self checkout which works terrible and requires assistance. They are replacing great brands with only store brands which I will not trust my projects The people working are much less knowledgeable or even friendly as they used to be. I have spent a lot of money here over the years but will start driving the extra distance to go to Lowes

Great help and information in the appliances department by Associate Cooper! Our refrigerator died and we needed a replacement in a hurry - not enough time to research. There was a great selection that met our needs (specifically counter-top depth) with various features. Because of her knowledge, answer's to our questions and help, it made the decision much easier than it might have been. A great big thank-you to her! We are awaiting the delivery, hopeful the refrigerator ownership is as positive as the shopping experience was!

This store considering how busy it gets is clean and well stocked. Most of the time easy to find things. The associates are smiling, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful in getting projects done. Its easy to meet professionals at this store who are also happy to freely share knowledge and tidbits to complete your projects successfully.
