I needed an A/C unit (10,000 BTU) that would fit a certain size "sleeve." The gal I spoke to said she would get someone else that had more knowledge to help me. She walked about 10ft from us & stop'd to chat w/what looked like a "friend." She continued to chat w/the guy for about 5 min. I finally got her attn & said, "how about get'n me the help you said were gona get me?" I showed the guy that came to help me the dimensions of the "wall sleeve." He told me, "they were pretty much out of A/C units." I saw they had some portable A/C units but that's not what I wanted. He walked to a unit that was sit'n on a flatbed cart, it was a 9,500 BTU A/C & he told me the dimensions would fit w/what I needed. He told me, "he could let me have it for $50 off reg price." I'm disabled & used one of Home Depo's "electric carts." Person I was w/acted like she was in a hurry all of a sudden so I ended up buy'n it. A neighbor offered to installed the unit for me. He opened the box & put the unit into the "wall sleeve," there was so much extra space that the new A/C unit looked comical compared to my old A/C unit which fit the sleeve tightly. The new A/C unit looked like a "large microwave" sit'n inside the "wall sleeve." Neighbor also showed me a large dent on right side of A/C. He looked at box & the box had been "caved in" on same side as A/C was sit'n when he took it out. Neighbor offered to take me to rtn it. 1.) I decided to rtn the A/C unit seeing as it was so much smaller that my old unit & would have to have lots of styrofoam to cover the open spaces & also the large dent in side of A/C unit. 2.) I was not happy w/first employee due to her think'n talk'n to her friend was more important that get'n help for a customer she had started to help. 3.) I was not happy w/2nd employee due to his hav'n the "exact measurements" of the "sleeve" for the A/C I was look'n for & he chose to push off onto me an A/C unit that was way too small in the dimensions I needed.

IF YOU HAVE TO BUY WINDOWS OR DOORS, MAKE SURE YOU DEAL WITH CHRISTOPHER RUNBERG IN THE WINDOW DEPT. HE IS EXCELLENT, KNOWS HIS PRODUCT AND IS VERY PATIENT AND FRIENDLY.

I like that Face Masks are made available as one enters the building. That saves running back to the car to retrieve one. Also, employees are friendly and appear neat and tidy.

I have always good experences at home depot stores

I wanted to comment on how great the customer service was from everyone I encountered at the store. In appliances, Beth was getting ready to go off shift, and she helped me make a decision on the right washer for my budget and family's needs. She got the paperwork printed off for the delivery, and when I made a small change to the order after thinking about it for a minute, she graciously printed off a new order slip without sighing or seeming annoyed. A female employee saw me wandering aimlessly in the tool aisle and directed me to the correct aisle to find a pneumatic nail gun, and Glen, the cashier reminded me to fill out a survey while giving me a paper to match the 11% discount that a competitor advertises. Thank you to Home Depot for the great customer service I receive whenever I go to your Bay City store!

Each employee will take the time to help you above and beyond in your project. Each time I visit its east to find products and I'm helped with any question or concern I have.

I really enjoy shopping at this location. All the employees are extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The store is always clean, well stocked, and set up efficiently.

Great customer service

Very helpful in all dpts we were in - any time we were in need of help someone was available! There was one man that helped my daughter & I cut a pipe for us & was very friendly & kind to my grandkids !

The employees were extremely helpful and knew everything about the products that they work in. Other stores can’t usual help much due to employees not knowing their areas or stores very well at all.

I would recommend this store to anyone doing a kitchen and bath remodel. Kim in the kitchen department was professional and patient as we changed our mind and design to find exactly what we wanted. With specials and combination of offers Home Depot had the best quality and lowest price of any other big box store.

Store employees are the best,very friendly but 50% of the customers are not wearing masks. Putting employees at risk!! I won’t return until home depot starts putting their employees first over $$.

The Bay City Home Depot staff and always helpful and very friendly. Miranda always remembers us, and ensures that as a Home Depot Pro all of our items are accounted for and keeps our records straight, which helps my business provide customer support on our end.

I love shopping here. I can find everything I need. And if I can't then I ask someone. Not like my visit to a different store, who when I asked them where their "Sanding paper" was, I was told to look at the different aisle signs. I am almost 71, and sometimes, I have a problem finding things. But not with Home Depot! In 2 more months, I will be getting my mortgage, for my 1st home. There will be MANY things, that I will need.
