The store itself always been great. Management helps out when needed. The one person that this store should do without is Olivia. She obviously does not care about her job nor does she care about helping others.

We bought a sump pump there yesterday that did not work. They refused an exchange for a working one the next day (today), with receipt, in the most hostile and rude manner I have experienced in a while. We will not be shopping there again

I feel like every time Im in the store , I’m being racially profiled . What amazes me it’s by my own kind . Today I went into the store with a family member , an older woman in the home improvement station (windows , patios , exterior ) stopped and asked us if we need help . We told her we were fine , because we knew exactly what we were looking for and where to find it . She said okay & as we continued to walk she asked us “ Are you guys staying out of trouble ?” And my brother and we’re very confused as what she meant by that and how she even thought that was an appropriate thing to say to us . Like what exactly within that 1 minute interaction gave her enough information for her to even formulate such a sentence to us . We do not know this woman or ever spoken to her before . I just felt it was very inappropriate . To make things even more uncomfortable , we went to “self check out “ & the attendant their self volunteered to check out our items for us as though we didn’t know how to or something . What didn’t make sense was that there was other people in the self check out area that were all checking out their own merchandise without supervision. I’m standing there wondering why is it that I’m being assisted with out my request, it made no sense . This isn’t the first time this has occurred where I’m not the one checking out my own merchandise while others continue to self scan there own items. There needs to be some kind of dialogue had . I’m pretty sure there are people who come to this establishment and steal but I’m not one of them . This experience made me feel as though I was a criminal whether or not it was intended to do so . If you look at my shopping history on my account you can seen that I’ve purchase numerous amount of items from this place . If I choose to spend my dollar I should at least be able to do so in a place that has more of a welcoming environment . I refuse to experience what occurred today ever again , especially when I’m paying for products , this isn’t an experience that I would ever choose to pay for again

Andre at Bloomfield HD went above and beyond in helping me with bags of tops soil and rocks! Didn’t even have to ask he just knew and anticipated my needs!! He has the customer service excellence down to a natural science!!! Check him out!

I try to stay away from Home Depot‘s but the one in Bloomfield takes the cake worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The employee in the tool department had a really bad attitude. I let it go because I was stuck but I never go to Home Depot‘s for this reason. I can’t imagine how they are still in business.

Customer service in every dept is not very inviting at this store for years

Staff are available at all times to assist in any way they can. Very knowledgeable in the departments they work. Great people and customer service. The cashier MARK is very friendly and polite. Rare to see these days!!!!

The door specialist I worked with did not listen well, interrupted me, and totally talked over me. Too scripted , not attending to the job's actual requirements.

James is the reason I have a running washer today. Customer service has always been the best at this particular store. I went to six different stores including a plumbing supply company and none of them could help me. I came in here expecting the same and walked out with what I needed and within 10 minutes had my new washer running at home. James saw that I needed help and he approached me, hand-picked everything I needed and told me what I needed to do to connect my new washer. Thanks!

My husband and I went to get mulch….IMMEDIATELY your staff person Andre jumped into action, helping us find what we needed….he rang us up and then quickly came and loaded it into our car…when my husband tried to help ….he professionally said “I’ve got this sir…”….at the end of our visit, my husband tried to give him a gratuity and he absolutely refused…”not necessary “….a TRUE professional…..wish there were 100 more “Andres” out there!!!!…..a huge asset to your company!!!!!

was looking for a garden pan to water my garden and did not have much time, she didn't know that part. Stephanie told me it was in Ile 53. When I told her it was not there she looked not finding it she said her supervisor was busy and she kept looking until she found it. I have been looking for that pan or similar to it for a long time. I am so happy and greatful. He that's faithful in what is least is faithful in much.

I came in at 7 am needing a 3/4 inch piece of plywood cut to size. One of the cashiers called and an employee met me in the lumber department in less than a minute. The employee was very knowledgeable and helpful. He cut the plywood to my requested dimensions at no charge.

The store personnel’s are very polite and helpful.

Buying a new kitchen range is a major investment these days. Working with someone with knowledge of the products and various features, as well as the patience to research and to help us prioritize our needs, was tremendously helpful.

An employee named Daquon is horrible. He needs to think before speaking. He made offensive comments to me during my shopping trip. He should not be working with people.

There seems to be issues each time at checkout and each time it is an associate issue. I shop at this location since it is the closest to my house but I've decided I'll drive further to have a better experience. I've seen people steal items because the checkout staff are talking with each other about non-work related topics, the checkout staff clearly have not been coached or trained on how to work with customers, they have no idea how to handle customers who pay in cash (i.e., they don't know how to count money, etc). The checkout staff needs to be trained and I just don't understand how this store's management cannot understand that simply fact. It is just easier to go to a different location to have a better overall experience since there are several in the area.

The store was very organized and the attendant knew exactly where to locate the items. In conjunction the cashier was very knowledgeable about the various promotional opportunities offered by Home Depot which created the opportunity for some financial rewards. My interaction with the the employees were pleasing because of their superior customer service approach.

Great experience! All the help that I needed I got here. I stopped by last Sunday, to try to start a project at my Mom's house. It wasn't an easy textbook fix so I wasn't sure what would happen. I told my story to Omar, in the plumbing department. He and I looked at our options and finding parts that cohesively worked together and it wasn't easy, but Omar was tenacious and he was driven to help me find what i needed. After consulting with a nice woman in the shower/bath dept., and another 10 minutes back in plumbing, Omar had the answer! Thank you, Omar, for your kindness and efforts to help me out. I've had a couple of experiences at this Bloomfield store, where I've needed the expertise of these professionals and they have exceeded my expectations and been a huge help. I highly recommend this store.

Workers are Not as friendly as the company stated they only say hi when your cart has stuff in it most of the females don't assist in helping customers they just stand in Group running of there mouth the line would be long and one person At the cash Register and no one step up to help

55 Granby Street Home Depot. my experience shopping in that store is excellent the place is very clean organize workers the associates were very friendly and will go miles to help you direct you where to look for different things or take you to help find it for you .I really enjoy shopping at this store always come out feeling happy.
