I always like to get my gardening products at Home Depot.

Don’t rely on their online “in-stock” items for this location. A 7 year customer of this location because it’s closest to me 75% of the time they don’t have it. Store is EXTREMELY dusty and they don’t wipe sale items down before displaying them (big items). Not to exaggerate but it seems like they clean the store once a year. Customer service lacks quality. 60 percent of the employees there genuinely care about assisting customers. The other half show no pride in their work ethic including management.

This is a gem among a sea of Home Depots. Plenty of parking, carts in one place and always pretty well stocked. They could use more fork lift drivers in the morning. Management often greets customers and helps them out. I like that. Thier pro sales desk is one of the best in the city. Two Words Melissa Paterson, pro sales associate.

I bought a piece of 2/3”x4’x8’ oak plywood. The didn’t have any pieces already cut to that size so they cut a piece from a 4’x8’ sheet and charged $31 as their website listed. Two days later I needed another piece but this time was at a different store, Northlake, IL 60164. Northlake store was a nightmare, I waited over 30 minutes for the guy to cut the plywood even though the person I asked twice for assistance told me someone would help me shortly. Turns out the cut guy was at lunch 2/15/24. After the piece was cut, the checkout girl and manager wouldn’t sell me the 2/3”x2’x4’ oak plywood for their website advertised price of $29.99. They said I had to pay the full 4’x8’ sheet price of $87 or wait a week for them to order the piece. After nearly an hour, I left empty handed but with an overwhelming feeling of disgust and dissatisfaction. I’ve been shopping at that store for 15 years for remodeling projects but won’t be anymore.

Great pro desk. Day after day this groups showcase their knowledge snd desire to satisfy.

I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator with top freezer and the associate Bobbie Davis double checked all of the boxes for a great purchase.

Walked up to the register to see the cashier on a private video call and never paid attention to the customer

Everytime I come to this location the customer is exceeding great.

I purchase wood trimming and steel pools from The Home Depot. I love the fact that I can bring my measurements and cut the exact size needed.

BOTH EMPLOYEES LAMON & TABITHA WENT ABOVE & BEYOND GETTING MY WINDOW ORDER PROCESSED IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT THE COMPUTER WAS DOWN.

The kind folks at this store go the extra mile. Best Home Depot in the Chicagoland area!!

Everything was good, if we needed help we asked an the staff was friendly throughout the whole place! An at check out Big Jay was so friendly an a great help when it came to helping us check out an apply for the credit card!! Definitely appreciated help!

Although I placed an order for an appliance online, I had to drive to the store for a 30 second refund transaction, I cancelled the order nearly two months ago. My credit card was required to process the refund. Extremely disappointed, after 20 years, I plan to cut ties with Home Depot.

If you want to shop at a store where no one is available/willing to help you, even though you see multiple employees chatting in the aisles and where you love waiting for a cashier to finish texting on her phone before she rings up your purchase, then this is the store for you. You’ve been warned.

This was a very bad experience for me, the store is always dirty, missing items and no one helps when you need help. Their employees are always on their phones and you can never find them if you need help with something. This is one of the worst stores in the Chicagoland area.

Memorable experience with Alexander that is in a class of its own as I never had HD associate be this customer focussed. I was politely asked if I am in hurry and if perhaps he can page me or call when items are ready for pickup. When I arrived heavy Items were on a flat-cart. Afterwards Alexander offered to assist with loading.

I have closer stores but the morning guy in the door department is very helpful and sincere, comes across as genuine.

From the department team to the cashier I've been serve with concern and respect. I've bought heavy item the dehumidifier and get a help for loading to my trunk. I'm more then happy to make shopping in # 1903 Home Depot store.
