Can I rent tools by the hour?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement projects may only require a short rental period, and long-term jobs can also be accomodated. You've got options to rent tools by the month, day, or week, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
It's fine to return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I rent a truck for a week?
Rent a pickup truck, van, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on how long your project is. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you must return it to the same store where you rented it. Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?
Yes, please fill up the truck before you bring it back. Match the amount of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. When you don't refill the vehicle, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too.
