If you've got a DIY building project you need to accomplish this is the place to come to for all the right supplies, with really helpful, knowledgeable staff. Good products, good suggestions, courteous folks. Mark, Don and Sam are all especially top-notch guys !

Associates are kind.

Most of the Associates are very helpful and friendly.

Every time we come to this store there is someone to help direct you to the right department. They will take you to get the item you are looking for and help you pick the the right one for your purpose. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Store is very good for the smaller community of Canon City. My reason for the negative review is that they no longer give veteran's the 10% discount for almost everything.

There is NO obvious area to bring returns. Once this area (register 2) is pointed out the employees are VERY helpful and the return process is very quick and easy. I was helped by two employees on my way to the electrical department and I got exactly what (I thought )I needed. Rule #1 of 2 : Every project takes (at least) three visits; buy extra as returns are appreciated. Rule #2 : Always, ALWAYS bring the items from the job with you and take pictures with your device of where it needs to match up. Rule #3 of 2 : When estimating $ and time, multiply by 2 and add 10% (courtesy of ML)

Extremely helpful staff and a well stocked store

They have a ton of products for sale, but many of their employees lack trade-specific professional knowledge to lead you through a project.

The folks at this store are always super friendly and helpful. Their desire to help out in every situation, from showing me the location of items to helping lift heavy tile, is authentic. They truly want to be helpful. I love that there is not a new set of employees every month, too.. That indicates to me that the store is fair to the employees and that the people there actually like to help people with home projects as well as professionals such as myself.

We will drive farther to shop from this Home Depot, than the one in our own hometown. Great and helpful employees!!

Finally, a store that hires employees with actual construction experience. I'm not giving out names because I don't want to stand in line waiting to speak to my "go to guys" when the secret's out but it's awesome to get assistance from folks who know more than me about building/codes and without hearing a time consuming lesson about info I already know.

My husband and I received help from a very knowledgeable worker who was able to find us exactly the part we needed for our home project. We will definitely shop here again!

I bought approximately $83 of 12 inch Red Retaining Wall blocks and had to pay $79 to have them delivered, almost $1 a block. I am 70 years old and retired. I could have loaded the blocks myself, although it would have been difficult, if there had been a Home Depot pick up truck to rent at $15. But NO, there was no rental pick-up, so I had to pay $79. Home Depot is making a killing on delivery fees.

I always find what I need and if I can't do it on my own, the staff is always most helpful and friendly. I can't remember ever having to return something that I bought at the suggestion of a staff member or feeling like I was taking more time than I should to make a decision.

The manager of this store should be very proud of the job he has done. The employees, working in the aisles I was interested in, were very helpful.

The staff of our local Home Depot are so helpful and friendly. With their help my husband and I built our house. Nothing is too much trouble, and if they can't help (a rare occasion!) they will find someone who can or suggest where you can get the help you need.

Store is clean but doesn't always have the products like the larger store in Pueblo, Co.

The lady that helped me in funding was fantastic. She knows her stuff and is extremely knowledgeable.

We thought the employees were exceptionally helpful and made sure that they got us to the right person to help us, if they could not answer our questions about putting in our new shower. We could not have found everything we needed or have known all what we needed to complete a shower from scratch. Thank you Canon City Home Depot employees! Shauna in plumbing was awesome! I usually shop between this store and another in the area, however, I am mostly finding the management, associates and cashiers at Home Depot to be much more pleasant. It's nice to be made to feel genuinely welcomed at the store.

This store is the best Home Depot we have ever shopped the employees are truly Dedicated to giving superior Customer Service. We can “always” find an associate to help find an item look it up on computer or climb ladder to get an item that is not stocked.

Hey everyone in Southwest Colorado, if you ever need home improvement supplies, appliances, lumber, flooring, paint, etc.....please stop in Home Depot in Canon City. Their staff are the best, always helpful and courteous. The store is clean and orderly and if they don't have it - they can get it! Just a heads up for all your DIY projects.

I recently made a high dollar purchase by buying a Milwaukee work bench and once I got it home and unwrapped it I realized it was damaged. I brought it back a couple days later and I knew that the Canon city, Colorado store was going to take care of me. I called the store manager ahead of time because I knew since it was a special order it was going to be a little different than just returning a hammer. Once I got to Canon City I talked to store manager Sean and while I was waiting, cashier Denise and Amy reassured me that my Christmas present (Milwaukee work bench) was going to be delivered to my home and that it shouldn't be an issue. After Manager Sean got off the phone with the online Home Depot, he told me that everything was worked out and my work bench was returned and a new one will be delivered to my home.
