I have the option of going to other Home Depot stores but due to the exceptional customer service and the ease of finding what I need, we will always shop @ Bloomfield Ave in Clifton.

I was verbally abused by the store manager, Luis in front of staff and customers! After being home for over a year due to Covid-19, it is men like Luis that will have me returning back to home!

This store is my favorite. Everyone is so polite and helpful. Nice work!

The store is clean, products can be located easily, associates are friendly and helpful

Very unhappy with the visit with the store at first. went to customer service to get help because I had a bigger order and needed a forklift to be assisted onto my truck. From purchasing my order then waiting 15 minutes for a forklift driver I approached customer service and I was approached by Gina that had a very bad attitude she definitely shouldn’t work at customer service she should definitely be talked to and she definitely has to be reprimanded. As a good general manager and somebody with higher authority with a brain she was able to help me after not Gina from customer service the general manager of the store. I will definitely not be returning here as if Gina is still working here. But in the end after about 45 minutes the general manager has refunded me and I am somewhat satisfied. Just not with Gina‘s attitude or her performance at work. Definitely have to address that, and the Gina I’m talking about is the one at the customer service desk not the general manager Gina she is the one who resolve the situation.

Employees in store were courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, the order was delivered wrong and I will not be using Home Depot in the future.

Walt , a gentleman in the garden section. He stopped what he was doing to explain what peat moss does with overseeding, told me how to get rid of onion/garlic grass that I can’t kill. Told me about Tall fescue versus turf type tall fescue , explained pre-emergent and how they can help the lawn ... This guy was awesome !!!

Everyone is always so helpful and it’s great when they know all the answers too. Mr. Bill from appliance was so kind and helpful!

Rachelle from the paint department ; went on on explaining the different type of paint brand , how to fix holes , repaint patios , gloss , how to store unused paint ... I can’t say enough . Thank you !

Even in the middle of a Pandemic . . . still there to get you what you need

HD stores are pretty much boiler-plate. The one in Bloomfield, NJ seems to be a bit improved over the pat 6 months. It get a LOT of traffic from contractors and local community; is always busy. So, I say this with also knowing its hard to pick up after people. But, the parking area is always really filthy. Garbage and debris strewn around. Inside is fairly well organized, bathrooms are always clean. So, all in all store is pretty good.

Mack was very kind and helpful. He took the time to measure and make exact cuts I needed

The store was neat and fully stocked. The customer service associate John was very nice, helpful, knowledgeable. You don't see that much. Keep up the good work.

Walt ; a gentleman in the garden section , helped me and explained in details how to lay steps ,leveling sand and gravel for my walkway project as well as showing me all the materials and tools required . He was very patient and details oriented .

This store has incredible customer service. Everyone is friendly and helpful from the customer service desk, the pro staff and general manager. I shop there all the time because of this service

I have found the Clifton Home Depot store has a good selection and is well stocked. The individuals on the floor are very willing to help and most often will walk me to where the product is that I need or am looking for. I have also found the individuals at the Return Counter very pleasant.

Mr. Bill, in the appliance section was very efficient in taking my order for a new range. He wrote up the invoice and set a date for delivery. He was informative and the sale experience was a good one.

I have not been shopping in any stores lately. Home Depot is my first and it was a really good experience especially with the store person who assisted me Renita. The store was clean and easy to find what I needed. The store employees were helpful informative and had a good attitude which made my store experience that much nicer.

Had a terrific experience in PAINTS with employee named MANNY. This guy went the extra mile to match a 10 year old paint with the smallest of chips I had. Saved me from painting the whole room and do the touch ups needed. Now that what I call service with a smile!

Gary , he helped me find Asphalt and a liquid that repairs driveways . He then explained how much and when to apply it in details . This is my first time repairing my driveway. He made it seem easy and boosted my confidence and I got it done !! Thanks you Gary !

The store was relatively clean and well stocked. The cashiers and the paint department employees are always friendly and helpful. It's not generally the same with others. I always feel like I'm putting them out when I ask for help. The other employees are sullen and don't seem to be in a very good mood. Are they not happy at work?

Wonderful customer service!

Frankie , in the flower department, spent a good 20 minutes explaining cool season grass versus warm season grass , seasonal and year around flowers , how and went to plant flowers , how to turn the yard green and build deep roots.... I wish I could post pictures , my garden and front door steps are top notch and I get all kinds of compliments from the neighbors ! If you ever have lawn questions , take it to this guy and I guarantee your lawn will dominate your neighbors ! Thank you

Simply put-GREAT STORE!

Frankie in the garden section of the store . He explained how to plant seasonal plants, what products to use ,how to maintain , and what to expect as far as longevity... He also answered a bunch of other garden related questions I had about winterizing grass . Please thank the man for me .

Jack , an older gentleman with gray hair spent a good 10 minutes explaining how to oversees and plant sod at the moment ... He was very kind and passionate about helping . Craig , I met in the Elctrical department saw my top soil and gave me advices on how to use it , how to water it. Please thank Craig and Jack . These guy were extremely helpful,polite and professional. I couldn’t ask for more .

Gary and Frankie!! Gary, helped answered questions about my clogged drain, showed me what to buy and what to do step by step. I was about to call a plumber , but he saved me the hassle. Frankie , helped me and answered all my gardening questions, when to lay sod, how to lay sod, how not to lay sod. He was very patient and was very details oriented. Those guys really love what they are doing, very polite and went above and beyond their duty. I can't say enough.

Frankie from the gardening section , helped me with my new sod fungus issues. He went in very deep details and explained many times. I was desperate and upset , he made me take pictures , told me how to apply the Scott fungicide , went in-depth on how often I should mow /water/fertilize/overseed/top dress/aerate /detach, explain the grass seed type and how quick they will establish !!This guy brought my lawn back to life within 2 weeks ! I surely have the best lawn in the block . He went above and beyond to help me and didn’t care that I bought the sod elsewhere. I was getting so many compliments about my lawn that I had to bring this man a bottle of wine ( which he respectfully refused saying it’s against their policy ) . I wish I could post the before and after pictures .I FOREVER WILL BE GRATEFUL!
