Cathleen was so happy to check me out. First I was left waiting because the store was so busy but then I met Cathleen and she was so nice. Busy is good and having a pleasant cashier check you out makes it all fine in the end.

Could not for the life of us find a product we saw on the Home Depot App that was in stock. After several minutes we interrupted an employee, a young man, and asked if he could point is to where we could find the product. Better yet, he stopped what he was doing and took us there. Then, went and got a ladder, and opened a storage carton to retrieve the item. Wasn't his department, but he took the time to help nonetheless.

Poor in store service. Employees difficult to find and once found, they typically lack the ability to answer product or usage questions. Also poor phone service - if calling store, phone rings and rings without answer. If lucky & someone does answer, if transferred to a department, it is usual to have no one answer. This store requires customer self reliance, use of own Google searches in store for successful shopping experience. Come prepared to be your own helper!

Bought tiles for a sample kitchen back splash project and had extra tiles. Liz handle the return and did a great job processing the reutruned items.

Very good shopping experience for a refrigerator at this location. Craig was the sales person who helped me through the process. He was very patient, knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend visiting this store for your home improvement needs. Especially Craig in the appliance dept.

After three lengthy high energy meetings, we ended up with a very well thought out plan for the kitchen at a very decent price!!!

Just moved from the other side of town where I used to shop at Clay. This Home Depot is similar but I could not have been less impressed by their lumbar department. I was 15+ minutes for someone to cut the wood. I watched him cut wood for another customer and cut a discounted piece of wood for him. After he finished with that customer he left and gave me no explanation- so I wasted another 15 minutes waiting for him to come back. The wood at this Home Depot was WET. He said he would not cut the rebated wood though I saw him cut a piece for another customer. His cuts were all 1/2-1” off what I needed so my shelving is not level and has pieces of wood sticking out or not long enough. Boy this was a bad experience and this Home Depot store was a HUGE let down. Spent $300 in total yesterday at the store- won’t be making the same mistake again. This guy cutting the wood was so scattered I’m very surprised he was chosen to cut wood. Home Depot shame on you.

Organized, clean, and always stocked! Love this store and never feel like an idiot here. Employees actively seek to help you. Just a great shopping experience every time.

Went in to order appliances and countertop and the sales associates helped us through the entire process with helping us find the best deal and making it happen.

This entire purchasing process was made excellent by Nancy at the ProDesk. We had repeated problems with our credit card suppliers and Nancy provided the guidance and patience to encourage us through the process (when, frankly, we were ready to go acquire the materials through other local/online sources.) All items purchased were Siemens electrical items, which included two items that are not located on the Home Depot website or computer database. Nancy was able to source EVERYTHING at good prices, and honored her commitment to follow-up and call us the next day as soon as she got into work! She went through a lot of extra hoops (including new procedures) that many staff members would not attempt or endure. Thanks, Nancy! We will be back with future orders!

I bought kitchen cabinets and granite countertops for my kitchen and bathrooms. The person in the store that I dealt with -- Daniel Strohmeier -- was incredibly detail oriented, knowledgeable, and patient. The whole process of design and buy was easy and enjoyable.

I had the best experience with my purchase at Home Depot of east Syracuse today. Sales associate Holly is amazing. She is Helpful, respectful and professional .

I have had so many great experiences from knowing some seasoned employees at my Dewitt store to my full kitchen and bath remodel two years ago with help from this store's manager, Charles! I love this place! I used to walk in the front door and be greeted by a associate some 13 years ago when I first bought my home. We exchange hellos and then I would say, I can do it, you can help! I love this!!

I go to Home Depot in DeWitt at least 4 times a month!! The store is always clean and well organized and if I ever need help every single Staff Member I have EVER asked, either gives specific directions and/or takes me to the area of what I need!!! WHO DOES THAT!!!

This store has a good selection of in-store products as well as online options.

There is, in my opinion, no comparison between Home Depot and the other big box store in town. These folks know what they are selling and are incredibly helpful- no waiting around for assistance. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because sometimes they don't have the item in stock, but are always willing to order it.

I purchased a dishwasher and had the pleasure of working with Joette Loomis. She guided us but never pushed any decision. She's knowledgeable and offered advice when asked.

After 5 trips to find specific hardware, Christina, was successfully able to help. I was so impressed by her demeanor and representation of the store as a whole. Everyone is always nice and helpful there but she went above and beyond.

I always get the help I need and the staff is always willing to help and in a friendly way.

Have had the Home Depot credit card for years and years and today we had asked for a manager to ask about a dying plant and to have discounted and was flat out told NO it the worst tone of voice.
