Store was well stocked and cleaned. Ok to shop at as long as you know what you want and where it is, but if you need assistance, you’re better off going to Lowe’s.

Very friendly and helpful employees. I was very impressed how they saw my needs and took initiative to find solutions to my problem.

Asked 3 different employees for help with cutting a board. Each employee paged over the intercom system for someone else to come help. 15 minutes later with no actual help and we gave up. Not a single employee was willing to actually take the time to help or follow through to make sure that we ever got helped.

Desperately needed magnetic sweep following roof install, didn't find the item at the aisle & bay noted online. Store was crazy busy & I finally hailed Susan for help. She looked, researched the sku on handheld unit & dug deeper, found the device high above display area. Susan then dragged huge ladder from the other end of store and unfortunately it wouldn't fit through because of post. She found another ladder & uncrated the item. Susan's positivity and never give up behavior made my day!!! Thx

Even if you live pretty close to this store, it'll save you time not to shop here. At this Home Depot, there's very little lumber and construction materials left after the contractors do their shopping early in the morning. Do not expect helpful, knowledgeable or friendly staff except for the nice gentleman in plumbing. Register lines are long and slow, and don't even think about trying to pay cash, they'll make you go to a different register.

Spanish speaking service when need technical info and or technical advice, Overall employees are friendly and helpful. Especial thanks to Ana and Cassie. Le agradezco por su ayuda Ana.

The store was clean, and items were easy to find. I use self check out, in order to get my military discount i call for help and an associate Cashier ANASTASIA come to help my finish my purchase. She was so mice and kind with me.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've been shopping here for 20 years, both as a customer and a Pro. I have always been treated with respect and care. I have had problems with products, services at times like anyone else. I have never been disappointed with any solution. These people are some of the most caring and understanding and many have become friends. In these trying times I have to say that many have held it together, gone the extra mile and been there for all of us. Thank you all for being there.

Best shop/Store for everything you need for home from ground/bottom to roof and from basement to top! Garden and hanging garden! All in the same Home Depot.

As I often express, the STAFF makes all the difference in the world! ... In this market where prices are comparable; for the most part, it's all about the SERVICE one gets! At this store most of the Staff make me feel welcomed, & VALUED; from the bottom to the top! This is my #1 Home Depot Store (& 2nd is the Gaithersburg Store); with Both Stores much preferred over the local Lowe's Store (which is less convenient to get to)! ... But to reiterate, most of the STAFF is the "X-Factor" as to Why I patronize this Store most often!

Shopping experience was worse taking 3 trips to get it right ONLY then to get it wrong again. Over sold on the stainless steel hoses for the washer which the delivery people didn't put on. A TOTAL RIPOFF SCAM - I had the same ones on my old washer and they took them with the drivers and helper. Left me with rubber hoses NOT THE STAINLESS STEEL HOME DEPOT REQUIRED ME TO PURCHASE FOR AN ADDITIONAL $30 GET THE FREEKING delivery people on the same page. MY DELIVERY WAS SCHEDULED TO 12 - to - 4 PM they show up at 9:00 AM What's that about I HAD TO TAKE OFF AN ENTIRE DAY OF WORK NOW TO ASSUME DELIVERY. I JUST WENT BACK TO WORK > YOU WILL NEVER NEVER EVER SELL ME SO MUCH AS A FLIPPIN NAIL AGAIN I bought the STAINLESS STEEL HOME DEPOT REQUIRED ME TO PURCHASE FOR AN ADDITIONAL $30 because of the threat of BURSTING HOSES WHAT A TOTAL TOTAL RIPOFF SCAM. AND YOUR DELIVERY SERVICE DIDN'T INSTALL THEM AFTER ALL ____ ALSO wanted the door to open on the opposite side HINGED ON THE LEFT NOT on the right. Delivery people wouldn't change that. They said they HAD NO CONTACT NUMBER NO CONTACT number - SPENT NEXT 2 hours trying to get a hold of any ONE CARING PERSON AT Home Depot just to get into a NEVER ENDING TELEPHONE PICK-A-NUMBER-DIAL-AROUND-JERK-ME-AROUND-TELEPHONE-TAG- AND AS A REMINDER HOME DEPOT WILL NEVER SELL ME SO MUCH AS A THUMB TACK AGAIN. WORTHLESS

Not the greatest service on Appliance Sales. Watch out for cheating salespeople not giving you the advertised prices. Take a calculator. Check ALL your numbers. The SALESMAN or WOMEN IS NOT YOUR FRIEND! They are there to make money. A simple transaction has taken me 3 trips to get the advertised price And this isn't the first time this has happened at this store. This will be my LAST purchase at the GERMANTOWN STORE..

The store was nice and clean and the employees were very good. They directed me to the key guy and he took care of my order .

Honestly if there were any other construction store closer to me I would go there any day of the week before going to this location. I go to this location because it’s the closest to me but honestly I can probably count two times I’ve had pleasant experiences here. Let’s start with the staff most of them clearly don’t want to be there. And go out of their way to be unhelpful... i’ve literally said “excuse me” to Home Depot employees and had them ignore me and completely and walk away. You feel uncomfortable asking them for help. I’ve also had experiences where I’ve asked for help and the person has said oh yeah I’ll be right there and I can see them having a full conversation while I’m waiting and only come to help me when they see a manager Walk by and show interest (true story) My favorite thing of all is the 70% off bin! For whatever reason this store seems to have a lot of issues with that area! In the back of the store there’s a small section of Items that are defective in some way or returned that they place is the 70% off cart! When you take wood off of that cart and try to use it for a project you might want to be careful because they won’t honor it even though they put it there in the first place!! I was working on a project and I needed a bunch of lumber that were in the size of 2x3s Imagine my delight when I found an entire pile of them in the 70% off (they were warped) and I was so excited I loaded them up in my cart and took them to check out I get to the checkout and the person says oh we can’t do that here you have to go to customer service take it all the way across the customer service they tell me oh that’s a mistake it wasn’t meant to be in that bin because it doesn’t have purple markings on it. so very irritated that I just wasted so much time going all around the store and it wasn’t even on sale apparently “that was a mistake” but all the story gets better! I go back two days later and all the lumber that I had taken before now miraculously now had purple marks on it The same 2x3s!!! and it was now 70% off! Unfortunately I had a similar experience today went to the 70% off been found exactly what I was looking for went to have it cut and there was no purple marking on it so I asked the gentleman to mark it for me since I had pulled it from the bin. He said we can’t do that because I don’t see any damage on it well why was it in the bin???? so why is merchandise in the bin if it doesn’t belong there number one? number two if you know anything about customer service you should value your customers and listen to them.... furthermore if you didn’t believe me then you should check your camera footage because I got it off of the 70% off bin that’s in your store! If it’s there, which it was! You should honor the price it’s not my fault that your store neglected to put that merchandise in the right place or maybe it was in the right place you just didn’t spray it!!!! Very likely!! So now you’ve made A customer very angry and you also have to mark down Anyway, because it’s now been cut! Seems very counterproductive to me and a way to lose a good customer! but to this individual it was more important to be unapologetic and unhelpful then to honor the customer or simply review the camera footage. (Camera’s don’t lie go check it out) It’s truly sad because it’s really could be a great store and the few times that I have had excellent customer service which I think we’re grand total of two the employees were really great and nice. people like them are the reason that I have continued to try and go back there but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be going back after this. Do BETTER and “Nail it” more often!!!!

Great customer service

Employees generally are not very knowledgable of the products and/or are not available. This could be due the number of customers in this store. The store is normally very busy which could lead to employee burn out either way though it does not help the customer. The second is the displays that are put up in the main aisle. As mentioned above this is a very busy store. Everyone likes a good deal but could the display be put else where its already very congested.

over all good clean store to shop at , from my experience going to this store for over 10 years it has always had everything I need to complete my jobs .

Always a joy to visit the tool shed with all my friends who work there! Deyanara was an absolute treasure for her services in helping me obtain exactly what I needed!

Compared to other Home Depot locations, the knowledge of the staff at The Germantown Store is far better.
