Been going here since it opened. (Have been going to Various H D's since 1985). Gig Harbor USED to be dependable but corporate is killing the brand: are they are millennials who NEVER TURNED A WRENCH? Less and less inventory every time I go in: 50% of the time I GET SOME sleepy-eyed kid in an orange smock say that I should go home and order from the website! The H D reps I've seen there FOR YEARS are getting very frustrated and starting to quit. They are telling me that the new corporate profile will KILL HOME DEPOT ...and I FULLY AGGREE!

I am only recommending this store because of Brooke P. She was more than helpful in my time of need. I could not figure out the new self checks and she came to my rescue. Even banging up my items and wishing me a good day, all while helping all other 3 check out stations. A+++ (Brooke P. Deserves a raise) I will be returning soon! She turned around my Home Depot experience single handily -Casey O.

Well your employee David cross was fantastic today he helped us find out what I was looking for and helped me find out what I needed in plumbing and garden he was so awesome thanks for all your help

Love this store! The people who work there are top notch...they always are ready to help you. The store is always well stocked with product, and if they don't have it in the store, the associate will order it for you right there. You won't be disappointed with a trip to the Home Depot in Gig Harbor.

This is an absolutely well run, well organized and a wonderful Home Depot. The Gig Harbor store is the best Home Depot I’ve been in and you not find a better store or competitor anywhere. You can build a house or fix a lamp with everything you’ll need front the store.

The store is laid out nicely & although it can sometimes take a bit before a salesperson can be flagged down, I appreciate that people are knowledgeable about their departments & take the time needed to explain/guide a person to the best product for the task at hand. I have experienced some frustration in evening visits when it seems the experienced staff are gone & have had to adjust my schedule or make multiple trips. So if a person needs something specific like windows, plumbing, electrical help, I'd go during the day if possible. Most of the cashiers are friendly; a couple even have treats for my dog, which we both love. And I also want to put in a good word for the hard-working young men who load all the heavy things onto my truck. They are always pleasant, patient, and kind. So very much appreciated!

Had a terrible experience with online ordering that the store itself has no control over and the store staff made sure that they made everything right. Great customer service and friendly employees.

Two employees stood in the loading area and watched me struggle to load 80 pound bags of concrete into the bed of my truck. Neither of them asked if I wanted help. One stood there and looked at his phone most of the time while the other employee stared at me.

For the most part the employees were friendly however the paint department was not very friendly and they mixed the wrong paint with the correct paint color on the lid

I've shopped at this location many many times and have been consistently happy with the service provided but today was over the top. The store manager and a few other employees working tonight really understand customer service. Thank you!

Couldn’t get off their rush to do their own job. Had to do it myself. Cashier Kimberly didn’t have sufficient means to price my cart properly or means to communicate with someone to help until someone walked by. I had to go grab the SKUs myself so I could finally be tug up after waiting five minutes for her dignity to finally reach a shallow point.

Ordered carpet. HD measurement services measured but never contacted me like they said they would. I ordered 72 hour carpet due to the time sensitive nature of my project. Finally had to call HD to progress my install but lost 2 days in the process.

greatest homedepot I've been too. always has what you need. love the military discount. very friendly staff. also very knowledgeable. love taking my 2.5yr old daughter there for "daddy daughter" time to teach her about tools and projects. she loves it too.. will continue to go there as long as we live in the area. .

Finally, finally found a employee that was knowledgeable and listened to my needs. As a result I left with a better power drill than I had planned to purchase and a sliding miter saw that I hadn't planed to purchase.

Overall I like this store very much. I do, however, wish there were more employees in the lumber/hardware section to help out us old ladies who are trying to keep our homes going. There could also be more choices in deck screw sizes. The people who work here all seem to be very nice once you find someone.

In general, same as competition...........not enough employees available when assistance is needed.

I rated the Gig Harbor HOME DEPOT as 4 STARS, because there is ALWAYS room for improvement ! I’ve ALWAYS been COMPLETELY SATISFIED with all of my MANY shopping experiences at the GIG HARBOR HOME DEPOT, including the rare experience when one of our “special order”, cellular blinds failed after a year, or two, of use. The staff at the GIG HARBOR HOME DEPOT contacted the manufacturer and arranged to have the blind repaired at no cost INCLUDING free shipping right to my door ! My wife and I were DELIGHTED !
