When you visit the Glendora location ask for Michael. What a great guy.

We bought some paint today and the gentlemen at the paint desk happily showed us what paints would be appropriate for the type of rooms we were painting. Frank helped us out at the self check out, He was so attentive and helpful and even made time to guide a customer passing by, to get to the right isle. Great customer service !

Only look for Alondra for help.

Bad service, Carolina at returns has the worse customer service.

During the week of September 8th this store was having problems with your computer system and check out Jessica the department manager went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved I would also like to thank Maddie, Becca and Alondra Ladies thank you for your customer service was not expecting not expecting a great result or great experience because of the issue you guys were having with your computer system And with my debit card but at the end because of your customer service and the way you treated me Home depot should be very honored to have such great employees there it is there thank you very much a new loyal customer

If your transactions are few or fairly simple and you always pay with a card and keep the receipts with you, then you are a good customer and returns will be easy enough. It gets complicated if you use multiple cards, don't keep the receipts with you and/or pay for some merchandise with gift cards. I often buy merchandise for my construction company over a period of weeks (even months sometime). When the project starts winding down and I have some time, I often head to HD to make some returns. Those items that aren't on one card are often on another and are accepted. Items that were purchased by cash or by gift card are not recognized and if you don't happen to have the receipts for those items, normally, the cashier will refund your money in the form of a gift card - assuming you have a valid ID. Tonight, the cashier accepted everything that showed up on the card, but put aside items that were not. Even though they were recognized and currently for sale, she did not want to give me a refund for them. I told her that I did not have the receipts, but that I probably paid cash or used a gift card, but that I had my id. She said "Nope, new policy". Manager confirmed that HD has a new policy and they are stricter about returns without receipts or returns of merchandise purchased by cash or gift cards. I came straight home and checked the HD website and did not see a new policy regarding "Returns without receipt or purchased by cash or gift card". This very well may have been a quirk and probably won't ever happen again, but I really didn't like the idea of the cashier telling me that I was "On the List".

During a major remodel, we needed everything from appliances to flooring to finishes. Every product has been top quality and the customer service is incredible. Old Fashioned customer service at a huge chain store is rare. Glendora is exceptional!

If you want to be fully self serve, no talented staff support and do their work for them, go to Glendora. If this is not for you, find a retailer that know what service is. It is not in Glendora

I had an experience at this store that I was almost very upset with however one employee stepped up to make me feel heard and cared for. Shawn assisted me with locating an item that needed to be forklifted down, delivered the item to me and assisted me with issues on the item. Not only did he make me feel comfortable but this was also one of the most memorable and entertaining experiences I've ever had while shopping at any location. It felt good to smile at the light-hearted nature of his assistance and feel so satisfied with my interaction and purchase.

It literally took me OVER an hour to get 8 different items. In many other occasions I've been so close to write an email about the WORST customer service that this home depot store have provided me in the last 6 to 8 months. Totally "UNACEPTABLE" and un-necessary waste of time. Which is why I've been trying SOOOOO hard to NOT go to home depot. Home depot associates just don't have any empathy towards customer. They just seem that they hate their job!!.. I had to get a ladder from a different isles and get the items that I needed my self (4 gallons of wood glue).

I am an avid DIYer and I find everything I'm looking for at my local Home Depot. Sometimes, even though I go in with an idea and a shopping list, someone usually approaches me and asks what I'm working on. After I explain, they usually give me some ideas or tips and I end up leaving with a better version or "safer" version that will last longer thanks to their help. One example was that I was making a $50 version of a $2000 minimalist boho bedframe and I couldn't figure out how exactly I would add the legs that I found and still have stability. They helped at Home Depot and I feel safe having my dog under the bed that I built.

My past experiences at the Glendora Home Depot have been pleasant and the staff knowledgeable and helpful. It's a gerat place to pick up items for your home and business projects.

BEST PRODUCT QUALITY / STANDARDS AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Plenty of staff to assist especially on the front check stand area. so much better the "L" home improvement stores.

Very frustrating experience at your Glendora CA location. Looking for LG Refrigerator and waited over 1/2 hour for assistance. Called operator TWICE with no response. Finally flagged down employee in the main aisle named Craig who was EXTREMELY RUDE sarcastic and condescending. Let him know we had been waiting for a long time and that I had even called the store operator to send someone. Rather than apologizing and offering help, he made it seem as though it was my fault I couldn’t find anyone to help me by saying “what are you talking about” and that he was “all around here.” Let him know I did not appreciate his attitude and to please call a manager. All this occurred in front of another customer who was also waiting for help with her recent dryer purchase. Peter arrived and assisted us. Noel and another female manager also arrived. All three were very apologetic and helpful. The fridge was a gift for my daughters new house in Glendora and if not for the convenience of this location I would have taken my money somewhere else. I definitely understand staffing concerns in retail locations but for high end products employees should be available especially on key sales days. Red/white/blue balloons are nice and inviting but not as valuable as well trained employees. Initially I was invited last week to return today for Memorial Day sale by supervisor Omar who was the best employee we encountered since he answered all our questions, provided his business card and encouraged us to take advantage of the sale. Unfortunately he was not available today. Would still recommend the store since managers did respond quickly and hopefully they will take my concerns seriously.

I received exceptional help from an employee with the purchase of a string trimmer. She was very knowledgeable and patient.

Kris and Luke in your garden department. Kris for her knowledge, her kindness and helpfulness in helping me locate and answer all of my questions!!! More only that the garden looked SPECTACULAR! I soever a lot more than I intended to because of it! (A little difficulty with navigating my cart). And Luke, extremely polite and kind in helping me to my car!!! They made my shopping today so enjoyable!!! Hang on to these two!!! A great asset to your store!!! Always great customer service!!!
